 Site situated on edge of a small lake, where you can go swimming and fishing. There is about a 50/50 split between long stayers and tourers. Pitches are well tended and the lakeside ones, at least, are serviced. Good size. Slightly sloping. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. There is also a pub/restaurant on site.
The campsite is situated in a quiet village about 1 mile away from Rathenow town, where you can find supermarkets and other shops. Small shop on site. You can also catch the train from Rathenow to Potsdam and Berlin, about 45 minutes away. Site now run by young, friendly couple (wife speaks english).
Excellent base for cycling. Great birdwatching and nature area. Sea Eagles, Ospreys, Black Woodpeckers, Resident Beavers. Discount for 7 and 14 day stays. Recommended
