This was our second visit to Tickles ground, a few bits have been improved

Since our last over night stop, nice toilet & shower, also has a laundry room, easy to find just of the main A30, slight noise from the A30 but not that bad, fuel station for top up near by,

great CS friendly owner.

A last minute choice, needing a rest from driving on the A30. Lovely big field, good facilities (toilet, shower and electric hookup). Definitely need directions though, sat navigation doesn't cut it.

The owner, Susie, was very friendly and helpful, my dog and I joined her in turning her horse out for the night. Laid back and relaxing break for anyone tired after the long drive.

this was our second visit to the spacious CS just off the A30, it was well kept as it was last time, we used this site as a stop off on our to Cornwall, we pitched up & had a walk, I took the car down to the garage 5mins away to fill up ready for our next part of the drive down, then we met the owner Sue & had friendly chat & paid our dues

The site had been well kept as before but with a new toilet, hope to visit again, we had set the sat nav which took us straight to her site

This Sue and Roy from Nottingham

We spent five days at Tickles Ground and had a fabulous time. Sue that owns the site is a wonderful and very helpful person with a Labrador called Ti that our sons dog fell in love with. They ran and played very well. The site is quiet so it is worth a stay at especially if you don't want the hustle and bustle of busy holiday makers at night.

WELL DONE SUE

We have recently visited this site and in many aspects it was a lovely site. Sue the owner is a delightful lady who is very chatty and welcoming.

However we. Were amazed at the standard of the facilities. The one toilet on site was a cubicle port a loo, which in itself wouldn't have been too much of a problem but it did not flush! It had a sort of gear stick attached to the unit which when moved released some toilet fluid and as the hole was in front of the pan not underneath you had to physically push the waste away with your hands, which was dreadful to say the least!

I was very upset and didn't use the toilet after that and had to use the facilities at the nearby garage instead! The shower was coin operated too and even on a certified site this was a first for us. I do understand that some people use their own facilities, however think that this should be your choice, and indeed some people do not have facilities in their units/tents. I am sorry to go into such detail about this, but to be honest if someone had done this before I would definitely have taken this on board and not booked this site.

Poor Sue did explain she is in the process of installing a new toilet, however this has been going on for a while as she had not been well.

Apart from the issues above this was a lovely peaceful little site.

Just had a week at this lovely little sight in Launceston cornawll and must say what a lovely little find. It was hard standing with electric up with plenty of space with a little picnic bench on own pitch for only 12. 00 a night :).

The site is in the middle of been updated as at the moment it only has one shower and a porta-loo but this didn't bother us in the slightest as we have our own in the van. There is no shop on sight how ever not far is a small corner shop and a local petrol station with shop, up the road is a lovely local pub that serves delicious food.

The site owner is lovely and bends over backwards to help and to make your stay as enjoyable as she can. WELL DONE SUE :)
