Basic site, 2 green fields, longish grass, lovely sea views across Hartland Bay to Rame Head.
Basic facilities attached to the farm house across the road (very quiet little traffic), bit rustic but clean, one has just a toilet and hand basin, the other includes wet room shower.
Bit of a hike with the Aquarolls up the hill if you are at the top but that's where the best views are.
Nearest small shop in Downderry where there a lovely beach and safe swimming. Also there is The Inn on the Shore pub (didn't try the food here but good for a drink overlooking the beach)and a wonderful café/restaurant, the Blue Plate, not cheap but excellent food and wine. There is also a smaller café which does breakfasts.
There is also a nice beach at Seaton together with a beachside café and 2 pubs, the Blue Wave and the Smugglers Inn. Had 2 Sunday carveries at the Smugglers, good value. Nearest supermarket was Morrisons in Liskeard, also has an Aldi etc.
Nice area to visit with Looe, Polperro and Fowey not far away
We drove to Cawsand and caught the ferry (30 minutes, dogs allowed)across to Plymouth for a nice day out.
Plenty of dog walks over the farmers fields and paths.
Excellent for £10 night, £12 with electric.

Great site. Quiet peaceful rural camping with good basic facilities. Only a short drive to some lovely beaches. No particular child facilities but the field was a great place to play and run around in and felt safe as minimal traffic.
Negative- there are only 2 toilets and 1 shower- at peak times of day there was often a queue for the shower and the site was not that busy.
We had a great time and would definitely return.
