We arrived later than we normally do, due to work. However, we checked that we would be ok doing this, and it was fine.
We chose our own pitch as there were only 2 other caravans on site. It's all grass, but well kept.
Toilets and a shower and 2 sinks available. Because of the muddy tracks, due to the weather, the floors were a bit muddy, but that didn't worry us at all.
A friendly site and dog friendly too.
A fast train runs alongside the site, but really wasn't a problem as it was so quick.
We will definitely be back to explore the area further, it's a great base to have a look around Norfolk/Norwich.

Great little CL at TAS tank museum.
Pitches on good firm grass, well cut and no grass cuttings. Ehu for all pitches. Water and chem disposal at the other side of pitching area.
Loos are very clean. There is one shower, basic but functional.
Tank museum is worth 3 or 4 hours, displays inside and outside. You are welcome to climb on and in the multitude of vehicles on and around site.
There is a small cafe selling breakfast baps, toasties etc. At the entrance to the museum.
The site is fairly large and feels very spacious and open. Despite all the military equipment it's very tidy and well kept.
A short walk across the field and you are on the TAS Way for beautiful off road walks.
At £16 per night it's fabulous value and the owner Stephen was really friendly and went out his way to make sure we were happy.

An unusual site, spacious, surrounded by many army vehicles.
Due to COVID restrictions we could not enjoy the museum or the site facilities. Very friendly and welcoming.
Peaceful. Fast trains not enough to cause any nuisance. A short drive to Long Stratton and a 9 mile drive to the pleasant town of Attleborough.
Good for walking, (Tyrrells Wood), cycling along quiet lanes. Children, s play area.

We were visiting the area again and decided to stay here this time.
This area of Norfolk & Suffolk has lots of other real WW2 & Military History to visit & 40's weekends etc so Tas Valley CL is a good central base. 1. 5 miles into Long Stratton (A140) for shops etc - NB use this as the route initially to the site as narrow lanes beyond.
Very agreeable & peaceful open well kept large grassed area for pitching, short walk away from Museum, with 16A EHU points. Water tap at side of the main hanger barn, CDP at side of house. Toilets and simple (hot) single shower in basic unit at side of Museum Hanger. Dog friendly (large open grass areas) & child friendly (play area adjoins). All very adequate for a reasonable £14pn (2018).
A more interesting & active type of CL site with the static displays and movements of Tanks & Military equipment. The Guy Martin repro WW1 mk4 was running and had a photo shoot in the CL field during our stay. The Museum is open on some days and there is a driven Military display area / track at the very top of the site.
Some quiet evenings sat out & great big sky night time star gazing much enjoyed in this quiet rural position.
The occasional Train did not trouble us at all.
Would return.

Bridge Farm CL is in the grounds of the Norfolk Tank Museum with a spacious grass area for the CL, I believe there is also hard standing area. There is an indoor swimming pool (not open in winter) that you get half hour exclusive use of and the temp of the pool was 33c when we were there. There are basic but very clean showers and toilets.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and a visit to the Tank Museum as very interesting with knowledgeable guides and who allow you inside some of the tanks, also there is a Swedish All Terrain troop carrier ride that was very exhilarating.
The lanes around were quiet and good for cycling in typical Norfolk countryside and there are Public footpaths from CL.
The CL is close to the main Norwich/London train line but the train noise was very short lived we did not find it any problem.
Will definitely be returning.

Just stayed at this park for 1 night. It has lovely countryside views and lots of tanks to see.
Shower and toilet was very clean. Bonus you get 30 minute free swim included in the price.
Excellent service and very polite welcome / owners. Highly recommend. Pets very welcome whatever their age. Lots for children to see and do. Well worth the visit.

We spent two nights at this campsite which is set amongst old tanks! It's a lovely open site and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The pitches are fairly level and there is a field adjacent to the site where you can let the dogs off lead.
The toilet block had just been built or renovated and unfortunately the shower hadn't been finished but the owners kindly offered the use of the showers in the swimming pool (yes it even has a swimming pool!) so not a problem. The toilets are basic but clean.
There is a supermarket about 2 miles away so it was easy to pick up provisions. There were plenty of country walks around the site and most of the roads that we walked along were quiet.
If you like interesting, friendly sites then this is worth a visit! We had a great time and we will definitely be back!

Bridge Farm CL shares its setting with the Norfolk Tank Museum, a private collection of mostly British tanks and APCs. The museum resembles a heavy armour workshop rather than a formally laid out collection of exhibits, which I thought was more interesting.
The pitching area is a large, open, well mown and, for the most part, just not quite level field which is right next to the main Norwich – London rail line. With frequent trains passing at high speed, whilst not terribly noisy, means that the site cannot be described as entirely peaceful.
The shower (free) / wc facility must be described as basic. (Remembering that this is a CL, having it at all should be considered a bonus). The shower was out of order during our stay, but we were able to arrange to use the pool shower.
The swimming pool (5m x 10m, covered, heated), we would suggest is fun for children, but we felt was basic in adult terms.
Dog friendly (£1 / nt. ). Reasonably so, your dog needs to be on its lead whilst on site, but there is a very large adjacent field where your pet can run free. From this field there are several well signposted footpaths. (Tas Valley Trail. )
Nearby bus stop with services to Norwich.
Nearest provisions 2m in Long Stratton.
A personal recommendation: try the Station Bistro on Wymondham Station. Railway themed café, good homemade food where you can be served in 1st Class at no extra charge!
To sum up: Large open field is a nice place in which to sit out on a sunny day, but notwithstanding this is a CL, somewhat let down by facilities.
