Amazed that CL's like this are still waiting to be found.
All hard standing pitches with big grass areas, all have water and 16amp electric. Pitches are separated by hedges.
As said before there are toilets (basic but functional) and there is a chemical waste
Free wifi also available.
We used for a 1 night stopover - absolutely perfect. Emailed owner who came straight back to give us access code, WiFi code and confirm pitch number.
We paid by bank transfer but owner was happy to come round and collect cash if required.
At £18 all in for 2 adults and a dog not sure what else they can do for the price.

Great site, nice large pitches and a friendly owner.
The toilets at the garden center are open all the time and there is a very nice cafe in the garden center.
Easy to find a handy stop over on the way to wales.

Quite a pleasant 5 van site. Pitches were largish with own tap and are separated by a low, well manicured laurel hedge.
It is a fair hike from the pitches to the toilet block which was basic but clean.
(The free caravan wash was a real bonus)
The owners Chris, who I only saw on my last day seemed a friendly chap.
Had the Full English in the on site Potting Shed cafe before leaving and it was excellent.
Would definitely stay again 👍

Roden Nurseries CL is on my return list for sure. The site is level and not overlooked.
It is in a lovely rural part of Shropshire and the outlook from the campsite of crops nearby/ parking area for nursery and middle distant views of woods and hills proved very relaxing and pleasing.
The 5 CL pitches are of good size and individually screened to around 4 or 5 ' by laurel hedging. I found my pitch to be flat. Night-time the gate to the quiet road 200m from the CL to is locked and the site feels secure.
It must be around a 5 acre car park/lawn between the Cl and boundary to the road and this was ample to exercise myself and the dogs!
A big bonus is the (separate business) nursery which I spent more money in than I did to stay! great shrubs and plants selection and quality. Full marks for all the scoring.
Location is superb for access to M6 via A5 or Newcastle or Attingham House which is just down the road.
Facilities for my needs were spot on. Value for money.
Outstanding. Customer service. Brilliant. Thanks!

This site is simply excellent value, hard standing with grass pitches (X5) water and 16amp EHU on each pitch plus grey waste option. Pitches separated by a hedge,
Toilets and chemical waste basic but functional,
Café very reasonable and decent menu/ prices.
Open field's overlooking the Wrekin hill, virtually no light pollution plus Chris and Pam are lovely hosts, so friendly and welcoming.
Very accessible although it's a country setting with Shrewsbury centre and Telford centre less than 30 minutes drive.
Lack of a bus service is unfortunate.
And it's open all year. What more could anyone ask.

A pleasant small site ideal for breaking a longer journey. Despite the wheelchair symbol, however, it is not suitable for disabled people as it is a long walk from the pitches to the adapted WC and there is no shower. The free caravan wash was a real bonus. The staff/owners are extremely friendly and helpful.
The price reflects the somewhat basic facilities.

Stayed for six nights - very nice CL - with a water tap /EHU on each pitch - pitches not level - so small blocks/wedges needed - used our own facilities in van - so cannot comment on toilets which are for the garden centre / CL use. Very quiet - road is visible from CL but you cannot hear the traffic. Open fields to rear of pitches - with lovely hedges & trees as boundary. Long hike for chemical loo emptying -as near toilets for garden centre- so everyone uses their car to carry cassette. Had a couple of meals in the Flowerpot café within the garden centre - Sunday lunch was very good & mid week meal average. Lovely area close to Shrewsbury - as previous reviewer notes for park & ride. 10 min car journey for big supermarkets. Tip for future CL users - take extra long mains water & waste hoses as some of pitches have taps on nearside of van - so on wrong side for connections on most caravans - grey water hose run off went under hedge. We spent a very interesting afternoon at Salop Leisure - about 15/20 mins away- everything there you may need for the caravan - plus superb coffee shop /café on site & an excellent display of static vans as well as a huge stock of new & used touring caravans - Swift dealers. Large caravan storage area under construction near CL during our stay - on part of unused ground belonging the nursery- but don't think it will spoil the CL as not too close. Grass areas next to hard standings are spacious & kept neatly mown with cuttings picked up. We never saw the owners - but as they live on site we knew they were there if needed. Would we use this CL again ?? Yes definitely - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The camping pitches are separate but near to the main car park for the nursery. All are level, hardstanding, and separated by a low hedge which is a nice touch. The toilets are in the garden centre car park and are very dated, but clean. There are no showers. Pat, the owner is a lovely friendly lady who will make you feel very welcome and is very helpful.
The park and ride into Shrewsbury is about a five minute drive away and does not have a height barrier.
We will definitely use this site again if visiting the area
