Very accommodating staff although very little English spoken.
Very pleasant pine forest site but toilets rather dubious.
Motorhome grey waste area also rather dubious (On an incline).
Only stayed one night prior to ferry crossing back to UK but would stay again.

Site very hard to find due to new motorway.
Dismal toilet block!
Site seemed soulless but a lovely location !
We only stayed one night, heading south
21 euros, so not cheap, but nothing else onroute.

We stopped here for one night on our way south from Santander, its a perfect distance from the afternoon Poole ferry. Aguila de campo easy to find the campsite however not well sign posted, asked a local and he said follow me and took us to the site(a little Spanish was helpful)
The site was fine the man in the clubhouse ( which was excellent ) very helpful. We had a fine meal with a good bottle of wine at a very reasonable price.
In the morning after visiting the toilet block we decided to wash in the van, they were in dire need of a good clean lots of wash basins but none clean enough to use.
Wanting an early start we arrived at the gates which were shut and nobody about. But on closer inspection the lock was not closed, make a note of this if you want an early start.

We visited this site in September and so it was out of season. We do not speak Spanish and the staff on duty did not speak English but they were very nice and showed us around the site and pointed out a nice spot that would catch the maximum sunshine. The site is in a densely wooded area and so should be cool in summer.
The facilities in the shower block were fine and clean, and the restaurant looked very nice.
Near the site there is a small church that has a painted mural painted on a curved wall that gives a wonderful 3D impression, well worth a visit. Next to the church there is a bar that was closed but the man doing restocking opened up and we had a nice chat with him through the language barrier.
Nice walks from the site around the adjacent huge reservoir with a small sandy beach and what looked like a beach bar that was closed, (remember it was September and quite cold!).
A good spot to stay as a short hop from Santander on route south.
