 Stayed here for 2 nights in April 2017 to visit Munich.
Pros:
- Location, location, location! Very convenient for visiting Munich - we took the bus/ubahn into town due to the weather but it looked like it would have been an easy cycle ride along the river. Its a 10/15 min walk to the Ubahn station, or there is a bus which goes from just outside the campsite gates - you can buy a 24h card from a machine on the bus or if you don't have cash you can wait to buy one at the station.
- Plenty of water taps. Pretty much one per pitch
- Decent EHU - I can't remember how many amps the hook up was, but we could run our heating and hot water at 2kW without tripping it
Cons:
- Standard pitches are very small and are separated by metal barriers which gives the site a very regimented feel. There are some larger pitches reserved for larger outfits and some areas without barriers.
- There are a few ablutions blocks on the site, some of which were closed or partially closed whilst we were there. We parked near one of the partially closed ones (no showers) but it was unheated and open to the elements around the top so it was freezing cold inside. This wouldn't be an issue in the summer, but just to be aware of if visiting in the spring/winter.
- Showers and hot water is an extra charge - even for washing up. Sorry I don't know the charge because we decided to use our own facilities.
- Campsite is cash only, but luckily there is an ATM at the campsite entrance.
- Motorhome service point charges for water which is a bit off when you've already paid for the campsite, but you can get around this by using the water tap next to your pitch instead.
Conclusion:
At £25 per night its one of the more expensive sites we've stayed at, and if you look at the price in relation to the site facilities then you'd say it was very poor value. However, its in the perfect location for visiting a hugely popular city with lots of things to see and do so on balance I'd say that they're charging for the location more than anything else. I would happily stay here again to visit Munich - you simply can't beat it for the location.

Got to be honest from the off; this site is the worst I have used in 21 years of caravan-touring the UK and Europe. My wife and I arrived there 5. 6. 14 in hot weather. 26 euros per night, cash only, wi-fi 1 euro for 30 minutes, tokens purchased for shower (toilet blocks not clean) pitches incredibly small and narrow, no thought for privacy. The approach is 'fill the site, pack 'em in like sardines, grab the cash'. It is close to the city centre and near to the Isar river - Munich is beautiful, so is the river - so I understand its appeal. I have a problem, however, that when my neighbours caravan/motorhome window is touching my caravan/car when opened I ask myself 'what am I doing in this dump?' A fair question I think. Spent 3 nights there, will never go again

Spent two nights at this site; large commercial site.
Location
This site makes an excellent base for touring the area and visiting Munich. The city is worth a visit - lots of shops, places to eat and drink. Good cycling from the site.
Facilities
Munich is the big draw to this site and there are excellent regular transport links from the park gates. Lots of facilities. Quite crowded. Pool on site.
Value for Money
€24 per night, EHU and showers at a small extra cost.
Highly recommended!
