 Our second visit to this site, 4 years on and nothing had changed very much. Same owner, everything as clean and well kept as when we last visited.
Only to other vans on site when we stayed, so very quiet.
They have wifi on site, a bread service and generally the owner is happy to help with any requests.
Again would recommend the site, just a few miles in from the coast and well place to visit the beaches, Nazare etc.

I have just read the previous review on this site, and I have to say it is 100% accurate.
The Facilities are kept to a very high Standard by the owners. They are very helpful and the site is a credit to their hard work.
The site is quiet and worth a visit, we visited in early December 2015 and stayed for 2 nights. There were only a few other people using the site during our visit. I would imagine it could be less tranquil if the place was full this is only a guess ?

The village of Coimbrao is approx 5 miles from the coast. The site is right in the village at the back of the owners house. A large site on grass, pitches seemed a good size, all with ehu. Plenty of fresh water available and chem disposal.
There are 2 sets of showers / toilets. We used the ones at the far end of the site - they could not have been cleaner - showers were good, plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Owners have a small bar at the house though we didn't use seems a popular idea on the smaller sites. Fresh bread is available daily on site.
There is a swimming pool and a small children's play area. From the site it is minutes to walk to the centre of the village. Two small grocery shops selling a very good range of everything you could need, a cafe with a wonderful array of cakes and fabulous coffee and a couple of bars.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and have lots of details of things to do in the area.
Coimbra and Fatima are easy drives but for us the coast was well worth a visit, someone of the coastal towns seem a little unloved but wonderful beaches, terrific cafes, a fabulous cycle route that goes from the coast a few miles from the site all the way down to Marinha Grande.
An excellent site, beautifully kept and well places for the region. Would recommend for both short and long stays.
