 Basic site literally just off the M1. No facilities at all, just electric hook-up and water.
Pitches set out in two circles around the site leaving a large play area in the centre. Most hard standing with plenty of room.
Some road noise but less than expected considering proximity to roads.

I have stayed on this site off and on for over 12 months. I am a single female staying in a 35 foot RV and the wardens have offered me security, friendship and help on more than one occasion. The wardens keep the site spotless and are proud of what they have created and have recently introduced recycling of certain waste items. They have a good knowledge of the area and London and are more than willing to share this with site users. Unfortunately, the shower, laundry and toilet block are no longer in use but most units on site are able to cope.
Close to the site is an entertainment park offering dry ski slope; in door bowling; aqua water sport centre; 'good old' Tesco’s; night club and Mac Donald’s. Across the road from the site is a MS garage offering a good range of groceries. This site is ideal if you want to get into London and many holiday makers use the site for this as Hemel and Watford offers a good train and underground service.
I look forward to coming back to the site and meeting up with the wardens again.

This site no longer has toilet / shower facilities, they have been knocked down to comply with new legislation relating to the provision of facilities for disabled visitors. There are no plans to redevelop these facilities.

We had a problem with our folding camper and needed to pitch it for one night. Living in Hemel this was the logical place to go. We were given a warm welcome on a site that from its location (not far from the motorway, just off a busy duel carrigeway) does not represent a very attractive option, but once on the site nothing could be further from the truth. A small friendly attractive site with ample amenities loads of hot water and heating in the showers.Congratulations on a lovley site.
