My family stayed at Our Garden earlier this month and were overwhelmed by the generosity of our hosts. The tent was fantastic and contained all the creature comforts of home, and the facilities were spotlessly clean. But it is the site itself that’s so special: uninterrupted views from our tent over the fields. A picturesque spot if there ever was one.
Like the other reviewer, below, it also rained relentlessly during our stay – and the communal tipi saved the day for us, too. We sat around the roaring fire (tucking into our welcome afternoon tea of homemade scones, jam and cream), and then toasted (the complimentary) marshmallows with the kids. For them – and for us – it was a real adventure.
Despite the rain pummelling our tent, sleep came easy for us and the two (young) kids thanks to the comfortable single and double beds.
We recommend Our Garden completely, and hope to visit again later this year.

This is a beautiful little glamping site, with just four bell tents and a communal tipi. The tents are spread around a sheltered garden with views across fields and a little brook running alongside.
Everything is pretty and comfortable - flowery duvets, rag rugs, pots of geraniums and wildflowers in vases. At night, solar-powered fairy lights help you see your way to the compost loo. Every tent has comfy beds, lanterns, chairs and tables and fire bowls outside. A hot gas shower balances the Eco-friendliness with practicality and comfort.
When we stayed, it rained unremittingly, and the communal tipi really saved the day - a large space with hay bales for seating, a huge firebowl and cooking facilities (gas stoves and equipment). We brought tables and chairs in and this meant we could still have fires, toast marshmallows, cook, etc.
The owners were lovely and helped with suggestions for things to do when we got sick of cycling in the rain. The tent stayed dry and cosy, and the only improvement I would have liked would have been a cover over the washing-up sinks. It must all be gorgeous in the sunshine!

My son and I stayed at 'Our Garden' in July. Firstly we were welcomed by a very friendly owners and their 3 children and a lovely cream tea. The location is wonderful, very idyllic lots of good walks, cycle rides and a beautiful coastline at hand.
The site has been thought of with lots of love, and creativity.
They were fantastic hosts they made sure that my son and I had a fantastic time, nothing was too much trouble for them.
The facilities (shower room, toilet area, washing up area) have been very carefully though of and the shower was the best. Took me a while to work out the toilet - putting sawdust down however, we managed. The facilities were exceptionally clean and fresh sawdust always available.
The washing up area was cool with an aloe vera plant in situ for the good old mossy bites and lots of candles.
We stayed in a bell tent which was beautiful, very clean, suitcase with pots and pans, cutlery and crockery. There is a stove and a kettle in situ and a fire pit and a barby.
There is also a table outside with 4 chairs and a fresh bouquet of flowers. Flowers also inside the tent.
Our 2 day stay with the owners and the girls was wonderful and I will be sure to return to their campsite and there home for a cup of tea and a good chat. All our love My son and I. Xxx

A lovely surprise find in the middle of beautiful countryside. If you are looking for somewhere a bit different to relax in comfort, this place is definitely worth a go.
Our children (6 and 8) could run free around the small field without any worry (only one narrow exit to a quiet road to keep an eye on) and they had a whale of a time, loving the bell tents! There isn't a playground but Mother Nature does a much better job of laying on the entertainment. Facilities were clean and of a high standard.
The owners are really friendly and welcoming, and there are plenty of places to visit nearby, though we should have brought our bikes too. All in all, we enjoyed spending time here and would rate it highly.

My family and I had a wonderful 2 night stay in a beautiful warm, vintage inspired bell tent. We were greeted with a delicious cream tea and a roaring campfire. The attention to detail was obvious and the compost toilet was perfectly lovely with its shabby chic touches.
The setting is stunning; overlooking a barley field that moves as though made of velvet, and the baby moorhens on the pond that peeked out occasionally were an added delight. Having not been to this area of Norfolk before we feel as though we have discovered a very special place and although the weather had its moments the site and the tents are perfectly comfortable, and very reasonably priced.
We would definitely recommend this to our friends and hope to visit again another time.
