 Swan Lake CL is set behind “Brickworks”, a small group of buildings which originally formed a brickworks dating back to 1901, and now used for light industrial purposes. Do not worry about this as it had no effect on our caravanning enjoyment.
The pitching area is close to the substantial fishing lake (the old brickworks clay workings?); is generously sized for 5 vans; the surface is very well prepared / mown and sheltered on all sides by mature trees. It is a very pleasant spot indeed, however cannot be described as entirely peaceful due to the background traffic noise from the nearby A14.
Other than EHU, water and chemical disposal, there are no facilities so own sanitation is essential.
Very dog friendly (no charge), with nice dog walks round the lake and on the footpaths across the adjacent fields.
To sum up: A very comfortable and pleasant CL.
