We picked this site due to the location, being very close to Southwold, Walberswick and Dunwich. It was a well-located base to visit all those as well as places like Sizewell and Aldeburgh. For example, Southwold was only a 15 min (max) drive away.
The site itself was very spacious and quiet. We were camping over a weekend and were the only campers on the site until our final night! The pitches had plenty of room on a spacious field and all looked like they came with a wooden picnic bench.
The facilities were somewhat basic. There were two small toilet/shower blocks though one was shut at the time we were there. Like the previous reviewer said, what was there could do with an overhaul as well as a clean. However, the two showers (one male, one female) were hot and did the job. There was a washing up room, again with good hot water, but the freezer provided in there was broken.
There is a small village shop just down the road in Blythborough, next to the excellent White Hart Inn (which had a better vegetarian selection than most Southwold pubs). There is also a larger deli/cafe on the corner of the road down to Dunwich.
Overall we found the site ok for our purposes; the location, space and quietness were the big pluses for us.

Spacious site (5 electric & 8 other pitches) run by a friendly couple.
Toilets & Showers are very basic. An overhaul is needed soon.
Great location for Southwold, Walberswick and the coast.
Close to some excellent pubs and restaurants
Some lovely walks in the area and great for cycling.
Some noise from the busy A12 on some pitches.
Electric pitch 5 is the most spacious.
Will probably return next year.

A nice quiet relaxing and friendly site. The toilets and showers were clean, Had a nice picnic area. Picturesque view of surrounding area. Plenty of places nearby to eat out and shops just down the if you want to eat in.
Ideal location for visiting Southwold and Kessingland. At kessingland their is Africer Alive and pleaserwood hills amusment park for children of all ages. Southwold is a lovely sandy beach with an old pier.
