Well maintained site with a large adjacent field which was perfect for our 2 dogs.
Also used their pressure wash facility to clean the van.
Steps provided to reach the roof.
Not expensive.

Wow - More than we ever expected
What a beautiful camp site owned by a lovely couple
The camp site is situated in a quiet location with far reaching views and convenient for a 5 minute drive to Holsworthy that has pubs, takeaways and a main Waitrose for supplies
The site is immaculately maintained with nothing too much trouble for Linda and Richard who work tirelessly to make sure everything is as it should be
Took me back to see children enjoying themselves in the well kept grass area in the middle with all the laughing and games
Facilities spotless and other campers very friendly what more do you want for a peaceful and stress free holiday with great value for money
Has to be a 10 out of 10 for us

We found friendly owners, clean facilities and lovely views especially good for admiring the sunsets.
Ours was a last minute decision to visit the area and Linda helpfully responded quickly and positively.
We had a hard standing pitch and found we needed more robust pegs for our awning ; a neighbouring caravan near helped us out when our awning threatened to go walkabout! ( The site is high up so just be prepared if weather is variable. )
However temperatures were kind and in nearby Holsworthy and Bude reached well into the twenties even when cloudy.
The site is relaxed, quiet and idyllically rural yet close to Holsworthy for Waitrose, Co-op etc.
We thoroughly enjoyed the walk along Bude canal from The Weir cafe at Whalesborough back towards Bude, ideal for our 3 dogs - the breakfast and lunch menus were great too!
Bude provides lots of activity for families - surfing, swimming in the wonderful sea pool, coastal walks, craft market, plenty of cafes etc.
The Tourist Information centre is well worth a visit, very helpful.

Absolutely loved our stay here- from the booking to the checking out, the owners are helpful, friendly and lovely people.
The campsite has an amazing view, and is very peaceful and quiet.
The shower block is clean, and the ladies toilet has enough toilets and sinks.
There is also an information board with numbers and addresses with everything from supermarkets to vets.

Excellent site, proprietors are really welcoming, facilities great.
This site is close to places we love, such as Bude and Widemouth (for surfing).
Our cat (who as travelled extensively through France and Spain) has given the proverbial thumbs up!
We shall return!

Very pleasant site although quite sloping but the owner Richard assisted us onto levelling blocks so the slope was not really an issue.
Lovely couple Linda and Richard made us very welcome and checked on us throughout the week,
This is an elevated site and is quite exposed but it is compensated by the stunning views across the open countryside.
The toilet block was clean and tidy with lots of covid precautions and reminders all over.
Will definitely return again, and would highly recommend to others.

Great views from Camp site, lovely and friendly staff, very helpful. Loved being here, had a great time.
No washing machine for clothes though. 30 mins to Bude, 10 mins to Holsworthy closest Town for supermarket.
Narrow lane to campsite for 1. 5 miles.
Would go again no problem and recommend.

Linda and Richard have created a wonderful little place here. They themselves are friendly, kind and helpful, but far from intrusive. A perfect balance. The main field is beautifully kept and presented.
The toilet and shower facilities, although small, are very clean and well-maintained and more than adequate (as many visitors are in vans and use thier own on board facilities).
We were in the overflow field with electric, and had a wonderful stay at this well-positioned site - enjoying the delights of both Devon and Cornwall.
A great holiday all round, but specific highlights were the amazing sunsets viewed from our pitch, body boarding and the natural see pool in Bude, cycling the Tarka Trail from Bideford and a beautiful meal at the Brendon Arms. Thank you to Linda and Richard.

Very clean site, lovely hosts, little bit lacking in men’s loo / shower dept, quantity not cleanliness.
The recycling / waste disposal area is open, and very near to one of the pitches, I wouldn’t be happy if I had that pitch.
Could really do with having a higher fence around and a roof in my opinion.
The grass is very well maintained. Nice and quite site which is what we like.
Thank you guys for a nice stay
