This site is ok for an overnight stop. Pitches are fairly large and very shaded. Facilities basic but clean.
However beware of the entrance if you have a large outfit as we do. Large boulders either side of road which has a double bend at the entrance making it a bit tight. The site has a barrier which they raise on entry. And in our case lower back down onto the caravan. No significant damage due to the design of our caravan. Not impressed to say the least. Warden gave us a free night as compensation for the scratches.
Also very near busy main road so lots of traffic noise.

We stayed at this site as our penultimate stop on our way to Dunkerque on the night of 29th June.
The approach to the site is easy, the 'camping' signs in the town as usual take you right round the town not through. There is a large car park outside the site, which I realise gets used by hgv s but I can honestly say we did not notice any noise to worry us.
We were welcomed efficiently and told to choose our pitch.
The site is very neat with a big metal entrance gate which is locked at night. The pitches are divided by conifer trees and the whole site was beautifully mown grass.
There were about 15 campers the night we were there, so very quiet. I believe the site only opens at the end of May so quite a short season.
The sanitaires were clean if a bit elderly. I have a note in my diary that I had a lovely warm shower in the morning. I do not ask a lot of campsites like this, its just a secure place to spend the night where we can have a peaceful night's sleep.
I think one bonus of this site is its proximity to the town. This is a proper size town with lots of shops and a couple of supermarkets. We walked in in the evening and had a beer in a pavement café. Its not a tourist town, just a normal French working town. It has a lovely big town square with the usual elegant buildings plus a fountain!
I would thoroughly recommend this campsite and we would return if going that way.
One thing I do remember though and this is obviously not a criticism of the site, but the A4, the road we came in on from Saint Dizier was a very busy dual carriageway, rather narrow, ugly, straight and one of the least pleasant drives I have had in France. Admittedly we were tired and it was very hot and thundery so maybe that coloured my thoughts.
