We were only stopping for one night and only wanted a nice quiet site where we could relax, and that's what we got. We were shown to our pitch which was huge, and proceeded to set up. After a leisurely walk through the well set out woodland area with the dog, we settled down to enjoy the sun and a welcome cuppa.
The site is set on a fairly busy road, but it really didn't bother us at all. Next door is the social club where a game of cricket was being played. Again, that was not a problem.
The toilet and shower facilities are basic but clean, and certainly very useable. Baz, the owner, was very helpful and even went out of his way to help us arrange a vet for our dog who decided to make a meal of a bee that proceeded to sting her in her mouth!
I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone looking for a quiet, secluded getaway.

This campsite is very secure, with very nice, large pitches and the camping/caravan area itself is lovely, with small dog walk, and nicely wooded areas. Some pitches have EHU. Location is great for access and approach. Sorry but this is where the good review stops. The toilet and shower facilities are a disgrace, (god knows what we'd have done if we didn't have our own shower). The site was noisy, It is small and surrounded by other businesses, a busy road, not really the main problem but a sports ground adjacent, also added to a less than idyllic stay. If you need to be close to Southampton, Portsmouth etc the site is ideal but please don't expect anything like decent facilities or peace and quiet. I can only stress again that the facilities are disgraceful!

We stayed here one night following a ferry trip arriving in Portsmouth so arrived in the dark.
The friendly owner guided us to a pitch and we hooked up and went to bed.
In the morning surprised at the tranquility and lovely setting among the pine trees, (the owner explained that he bought the site a couple of years ago and it was previously a Christmas tree farm).
We did not use any of the facilities on site except the chemical toilet emptying point so cannot comment on them.
On the basis of just the ambiance we would recommend this site.

We have just returned from a four night stay at this wonderful site.
Set amongst Fir trees it is a delightful place to relax.
It is one of the best sites that we have visited.
The owners and their family are lovely, friendly and very helpful people who made us feel comfortable right away.
They are working to improve on what is already a charming site, we shall definitely return. A big Thank You
