 Used as a one night stopover on the way to Llanfair C. The site adjoins a working farm and campsite is behind pub so expect occasional agricultural noises. Food and beer both fine. Use of pub toilets. A well kept site with hardstanding, electricity, nice views, flower beds and a visiting barn owl.

Stayed here October for 3 nights.
Very good site easily accessed via A458 - Llanfair Caereinion, then Watergate St – New Rd.
Site at the back of pub. Great views, electric hook up, Chemical and Grey waste, use of the toilets in pub, No showers, some recycle.
No one to meet us, as the pub was closed when we got there, but we set up next to a motor home along the fence adjoining the pub and went to the pub when it opened. Spoke to Mrs Watkins and she booked us in and we booked a table as well. Had a lovely home cooked meal in a friendly pub and the very short walk back to the caravan was lit by street lamps. You will need a Torch though as the car park light does go out after the pub closes. Would have liked the grass in front of the hardstanding cut.
Phone signal was only good (O2) if I walked out in front of the caravan for some reason, though WiFi could be available in pub if you asked. Tv signal was good.
Very quiet, would recommend anytime.
There was a caravan and Motor home there when we got there. And though the caravan seemed to be stored on the end, it seemed to take up a pitch and half.
If I could offer some advice, I would like to see the pitches clearly marked and numbered to save any confusion.
