Thank you Gelliwig Caravan Park for a special stay. The showers were hot and well timed. The pitch flat and well groomed. I will stay again when in the area.
The wash room sink is a little too small hitting ones head on the shelf, possibly two larger basins to the right with shelf and towel rail and hot water at basin tap. No problems really as I am well use to camp sites. This one being one of the better ones.
Just returned from a short break at this lovely site. The site is nice and quiet and relaxed although being attached to a working farm there is a bit of noise from the animals in the fields.
The facilities are basic but well maintained and clean. The showers are 50p for about 5 mins and are nice and hot. The only criticisms we could come up with is that they could do with a sink to wash up plates etc for people in tents and possibly some hot water in the wash rooms for washing/shaving. Other than this it's perfect!
The owners are very friendly and relaxed and are about but not too much so. We love the site and the area and would recommend it to others. We'll be back!
Family site with clean facilities in a good quality toilet block. Main reason you would come here is all the space there is on site with touring pitches facing open fields towards Hells Mouth and Rhiw mountain in the distance. The walks around the site are peaceful and being near a working farm is a bonus to see the animals. The main field where the static caravans are is large with a big field in the middle where children can play in a safe environment. There are plenty of children on the main static site but the touring area is quieter and more secluded. The price is low for area, £12 per night + hook up so its not the ritz but the facilities are of a good quality and clean, wifi and washing machine/dryer are a bonus also. The advantage of this site is that the touring area is small so the facilities are not too busy. I enjoyed our stay, website gives the idea of the sort of place it is.
