We needed a site in this area and chose this because of the views and the fact it was smaller than the Nattersee one.
The views are spectacular but the site itself is mediocre.
Many of the pitches are scruffy and a few have long term caravans etc. The showers were dated and grubby.
There is a modern restaurant which acts as reception and it would be nice if the toilet facilities could be brought up to the same standard.
If you go through the tent area you come to an excellent park/children’s playground and we were able to walk our dog here.
You are not really within walking distance of anything else except a bus stop to Innsbruck.
Easy to reach from the motorway.
We were a bit disappointed considering the cost and would not choose to stay here again as there is another site nearby.

Very convenient site for an overnight stopover on the way to/from Italy as it is a short hop off the main motorway networks. It was very well signposted and easy to find. The biggest plus of the site has to be the spectacular panoramic view of the mountains, as well as the new toilet block with its luxury soft loo paper. The site is steeply sloping but if you arrive on site early you can drive around and choose your pitch.
We ate in the on-site Italian/pizzeria style restaurant, which seemed very popular with the locals so booking is recommended. We chose to eat on the veranda overlooking the mountains and thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
We drove into Innsbruck, but I did notice a bus timetable in the reception and really enjoyed looking around the old town.
We would definitely like to return to Austria.

A great campsite - we really liked it. Consider that they were refurbishing the toilet/shower facilities, the temporary toilets and showers (in containers) were of far better quality than many other established facilities in campsites we had visited. They were heated, clean with soap and toilet paper.
The key (for which a deposit is required) - is for the door to the dishwashing and washing machine facilities.
Great walks for the dog and as the previous reviewer commented - the views of the surrounding mountains are spectacular.
We have a campervan, so no problems on the pitches - which are all open although on terraces.
Most important was the 16 amp electrics - definitely a plus in November.
We didn't use the restaurant - but it was busy so must be good.
The cost of the site for one night was 25 euros - a bit expensive, but the fantastic (free) WIFI connection helped ease the pain.

This is a well established campsite in an amazing area.
Be prepared to unhitch at a very steep angle. (we had to sit (grown up)kids on the A frame to keep wheels on the ground whilst using the caravan mover.
The site is over looked by huge, amazing mountains. Waking up to those in the morning felt wonderful.
There is a restaurant on site, although we didn't use it - it looked very nice.
We had to pay a deposit for a key - but never found out what the key fitted.
The shower block is dated, but clean. There are bathrooms as well as individual showers. The cubicles are as big as my whole bathroom at home!
They are obviously very proud of the electricity supply boxes, as they have framed photos on the walls. Made me giggle.
