 Although when I got there I was told it’s only for caravans and not tent camping they still let me stay
No facilities I could use so I can’t comment on toilets or showers
The staff in the pub were very helpful and I had a lovely meal to take away

What a pleasant little site with a great pub attached.
The site did not have a lot of facilities but was very welcome and friendly with a pub that has great food.

Great if you have a campervan not if you have a tent, only because there is no toilet or facilities.
Great food at the pub. Sadly would have felt better but one rather loud (drunk possibly) man shouting til late at night.

Arrived two nights before New Year, the pub was closed as it was mid afternoon. Parked our caravan on the spacious and quiet caravan park and settled in. The White Lion was not open on the first evening so we took a short ride into Beccles and found a pub selling Abbot Ale for only £2. 45 a pint, luckily my wife does not drink so I could have a couple.
The next day friends arrived and set up and we all had an excellent meal in the White Lion with good beers and wines. Esther and her staff made us very welcome and we will certainly use the caravan park and the White Lion again.

What a lovely site. If you want peace & quiet this is ideal. Lovely toilet & shower block. Very well looked after. If you have kids you are within a 20 mile radius of Pleasurewood hills/Africa Alive/Yarmouth Pleasure Beach & Norwich.
Rates are really good. We paid £12. 50 per night which included electric & a full size awning.
You must visit this place it is A+.

Hidden gem behind a traditional country pub with a twist; they serve the best Thai food in the area, try the mixed starter!
The site is quite and simple, flat, short grass, plenty of space, electric hook-ups what more do you want. I believe showers and toilets are planned but really not a deal breaker for us.
There is a small village farm shop 10 minutes walk away, endless dog walks in the area, short drive or 30 minute walk to the river. You can get a bus into the main town of Beccles from outside of the site if you don't fancy driving.
A real find, Had a fantastic time and will be back.
