Lovely campsite close to Arles. Bus stop five minute walk. Clean and I felt safe as a sole traveller.
Bit disappointed that the restaurant and bar had closed already given there were still a lot of people there.
Showers cold but not a deal breaker
Staff friendly and helpful

We stayed at this site for 4 nights as there seemed to be so much to see in Arles and we also wanted to take in Nimes whilst in the area. When we arrived the reception was closed and the notice indicated it would be open at 4pm (it was 1pm when we arrived). During our wait we took the opportunity to take on fresh water which was available in the car park of the site. After about 90 mins a man came to let us in together with other 2 or 3 units which were also waiting and said to select a pitch and then go back to the reception at 4pm to register and pay etc. The manager arrived at about 4. 30pm to complete our booking in and he also provided lots of useful information concerning transport into town and maps of the area etc. The bus stop was about 10 mins walk away and we used the bus to and from town every day we were there - the cost was 2 Euro per person each way. The town we were told was walkable but we couldn't be bothered! From the town we caught a train to Nimes with over 60's discount to enable us to fulfil this part of our stay. The facilities at the site - toilets and showers - were excellent. Every morning when we went to shower there was a lady cleaning and she was not at all bothered about us disturbing her work. We would stay at this site again if ever in the area.

Reviewers - mature couple with campervan and bikes.
We chose this campsite as it sounded to be convenient for visiting Arles. It is situated about 2 kilometers from the old centre, and just off a main road on the edge of a residential area.
When we arrived there, I realised I had stayed here before some years ago, it was then called Camping les Rosiers. As well as changing the name, the site has been improved since then, and appears to have been extended. It feels rather 'new', lots of the trees and shrubs have been removed and the pitches relaid. The owners are very particular about the grass, groundsheets are not allowed.
When we arrived, the reception was closed and the barrier down, but a warden appeared to let us in, asked us to choose a pitch and come back later, which we did. There is a code for the barrier.
There is a brand new toilet block, but it wasn't in use when we were there. We had to use the old outdated sanitary facilities, which had separate sex showers and shared toilets. The lights in the ladies showers were on a timer, and I had to leave my shower twice in the pitch black to 'wave' them back on. The water was nice and hot.
Washing up is in a separate room, also a washing machine. There was no bin in the washing up area, and to avoid a walk to the entrance where the recycling bins are, people were leaving bags of rubbish and bottles in the small bins in the toilet.
There is an outdoor pool which looked attractive, but it was too cold to go in. Also a children's' playground. There's a bar and restaurant in the reception building, and a covered area to sit out.
There are a few shops locally for bread and so on, or you can catch a bus nearby into the city centre. We cycled into the centre, it's quite straightforward, mostly on cycle paths, takes about 15-20 minutes. There are lots of interesting buildings as well as the famous ampitheatre. You can walk round the outside, or pay to go in, they seem to have some sort of theatrical going on during the day.
The site gives ACSI discount, so is quite good value for money, especially when the new toilet block opens.
