 We booked to stay at this campsite a few weeks before departure and we are so glad we did. Friendly, helpful staff, a well kept site with great toilet and shower facilities. We will definitely be back. Thank you for being so welcoming and friendly!

My parents have been visitng this site for over 25 years. Initially with my Brother and I as children and now My husband and I go along with them in our own caravan.
It's a very peaceful site. At a guess around 100 pitches but the majority are long term residents.
There are no cars on site - the barrier is open between certain hours to allow shopping runs etc. But most people use bikes.
The toilet facilities are spotless - They were recently renovated and are cleaned regularly. They can be busy at certain times for the showers but generally not a problem.
There is fishing on site (something to bear in mind if you have young children who are prone to wandering) and a sports centre with swimming pool right next door.
We've stayed in a tent in the past and the facilities for campers are excellent. There is an under cover seating area with gas burners and a fridge freezer.
The town is a 10 minute walk, or 5 minute bike ride away and is a decent sized town with lots of shops and eating options. Woerden is an excellent location for cycling. You can get to many towns on the excellent Dutch cycle network (Gouda, Alphen aan den Rijn, Utrecht and Oudewater are all nice easy places to get to). Woerden also has a train station if you want to get further afield to Amsterdam/Rotterdam etc.
The owners are very friendly. They speak excellent English (as do most of the Dutch) and are very helpful. The cabin sells ice creams, there is no full shop on site. The leisure centre next door does have a little cafe where you can get sandwiches etc.
My husband and I have been going for the last 5 years and have already booked again for this summer! Very good value compared to comparable UK sites.
