 We loved this Campsite as a relaxed smaller site base.
This is not an all singing all dancing site and only had a smallish pool, however we never had to wait for a sunbed as people mainly only spent an hour or so at the pool as the beaches are so close.
This site had massive pitches, I mean really huge 160 sqm. It had a mini farm, archery too.
The shower blocks were basic but clean and adequate. The bar area was basic and we don't go in for entertainment but listened to a band once.
There is an off road cycle track in front of the site and we cycled several times to Canet Plage for the beach or restaurants, even mini golf one day and our 7 year old managed it without any problems. There is a lidl a 5 min cycle up the track which had a great bakery for morning croissants.
This was a great site away from the hustle and bustle but with good quality facilities. We loved it and would definitely return. The children made many French friends and loved it too. If you are looking for a Mini England, everything laid on style site, , this would not be for you.

Just returned from our 10 day holiday to Camping Les Fontaines. This being our first adventure into camping after a 2 year break, we were unsure what to expect. But we were pleasantly surprised, the pitch was huge, it could accommodate our Indiana 8, trailer, car and kitchen and still some room to spare. We hired a fridge (the wife's idea) which was a good move, they helped in supplying an extension cable, as we did not have an English plug to french socket to fit our electrics, (note to self!). The snack bar had an event every evening and the food was not to bad on price. Lidl is only 1. 3km from the site which is easily reached by cycle. There is a small playground, a decent sized pool and small petting zoo and deer to feed your leftover bread too. There is only 1 toilet and shower block which are cleaned twice daily. The only negative will be that the showers are push button only so you can not control the temperature of the water. If you use the baby shower you can have a more enjoyable shower.
Canet En Roussillon is about 10 mins drive away the beach is large and never overcrowded. There are plenty of restaurants there and the jewel for us was our meal in Collioure, a must but difficult to find parking.
There is not a lot of shade, so your tent will get hot. All pitches have access to electric and there is a chemical flush near the entrance for you know what! What we really liked about this site is that we felt secure leaving our tent for the day with just the flysheet zipped.
The are static vans there for hire, and English campers are few, but don't let this put you off. If you are looking for a relaxing, hot and chilled out site, this could be the one.
