 A handy Municipal Site just 4/5 minutes from Auchan in Boulogne. It is situated on the outskirts of La Capelle Les Boulogne, which has a Bread shop open every day but closed Monday also cafe, butchers etc. The office at the site is only open 0800-0900 & 1600-1700. If closed there is a operating switch either side of the barrier, just open, find yourself a pitch and the warden will call. You can call the Mobile number and inform them you have arrived. The weekend warden we saw is very enthusiastic and speaks good English.
There are good sized hardstanding pitches all with water, electricity and drainage, and a central grass area for tents. There are two large modern toilets and showers in the centre.
For dog owners there are good walks in the adjacent woods.
A very good site for a night halt and to visit the local area
