If you're looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place.
The site is located less than 10 mnutes' drive from the centre of Easingwold and very accessible.
The pitches are level and well spaced out. The site has excellent facilities.
Lovely hot showers cost 50p for 15 minutes' use - enough time for 2 people to shower one after the other!
Site owner Jackie was extremely hospitable and treated me like an old friend.
Easingwold is a delightful place with lots of Georgian buildings and offers FREE PARKING in the middle of town.
We had a Chinese takeaway from Easingwold. It was absolutely delicious - one of the best I've ever tasted! Given that I am Chinese myself and I worked in a Chinese restaurant for more than 7 years, I have had many Chinese meals to compare this one with.
I would highly recommend this site.

A peaceful, welcoming and picturesque haven! Jackie, Carole and Clive treated me like family and went out they’re way to make my stay perfect! Several seasonal pitches that makes it feel like a home from home! Certainly what I’ve come to love about a warm Yorkshire welcome and honest, simple facilities!
Thank you so much guys for my lovely stay- if I lived nearer I’d certainly be back on a regular basis!

We stayed here in June for 4 nights. Mrs Stockdale was very welcoming and answered all our questions. Hot showers, a great cabin with kitchen including washing machine and fridge, and a lounge area.
The site is very peaceful and quiet, yet so near Easingwold and an easy drive to York.
I can highly recommend this site for a peaceful break or a centre to go and investigate the beautiful countryside.

Camped here in a touring tent at very short notice, the owner very friendly and accommodating.
Superb campsite, quiet and very peaceful - away from major roads. Great facilities, clean showers and toilets, a lovely 'pavilion' area with sofas, books, games and an old fashioned grandfather clock. Excellent kitchen, washing up facilities, clothes washing and drying and a fridge.
Highly recommended.
David,
Leeds.
