My husband and I visited this site for first time on 11th July for 7 night stay and we were very pleased with the spacious pitches for caravans/ tents.
Amanda & Richard are very welcoming and very laid back, no strict lines or enclosed bushes, all three fields lovely and open, just use common sense when setting up not to invade others privacy.
The views over countryside are lovely and very quiet and peaceful site very well tended, grass kept short and toilets and shower very clean and homely feel.
We will certainly be back, lots of nice places to visit, would recommend Glastonberry, Wells City, Frome really lovely and good pub at Aller The Old Pound Inn, food really good and reasonable.
Look forward to our next visit. Thank you

Lovely site with nice views. Would stay there again.
Shame facilities were shut because of Covid, but loads of hand sanitizer on site.
Nice dog walks and the village of Long Sutton was nice to walk round.

What a lovely place to stay even just for the night. Arranged to meet up with my daughter, when she arrived she somehow lost control of her car and put her car partially into a water ditch. The owner of the site Amanda went far and beyond being so helpful and pulled her out to safety. What a lovely lady and her help mate.
Thank you again and we will return to your lovely site.
Kind regards
Mark.

Fantastic stay at Long Sutton. Owners always welcome and helpful. Extremely clean and tidy site. Grass very short. So many places to go and do, also brilliant area for walking and cycling. Looking forward to returning again this summer.

Arrived to see our name on the welcome board with instructions where to park, the site owners are very friendly and make your visit feel more personal.
Beautiful kept field grass mowed and looking very fresh, picnic seats around the field for your use.
Toilet and shower very clean also a room for washing your pots if required with information of the surrounding areas. Free wi fi which is very good.
Views from the site very nice, this one of the quietest sites I have been on and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday away from the bustling crowds but within traveling distance of the coast and many local attractions.
Would definitely use again. 5 stars.

We had a weekend at the site. The site itself is relatively easy to find just off the main road through the village and as it was a no through road you would anticipate that it would be quiet and it did not disappoint with no unwanted sounds.
The site itself is 2 fields, one belonging to Daughter and called Brook Farm and the other belonging to Mother-in-Law. We stayed with daughter. The site is a large relatively flat field which has been well maintained plus a bit of hardstanding for possibly two units. We had an electric hook up at a very competitive rate.
There is a single toilet/washbasin in one small building and next door of similar size an electric shower with a charge of £1 for 15 minutes providing an adequate supply of water at an acceptable temperature. Although I would have preferred half the time for half the money which would be perfectly adequate. I suspect if the site gets busy these are an inadequate number of facilities.
For a dog owner it an excellent site with a walk right outside the site and numerous well marked footpaths. The village boasts a well stocked Spar shop and a very good pub, somewhat upmarket but value for money.
Overall a lovely site we would like to revisit. With two provisos that the facilities can cope with the numbers on the site and in general probably not the best area if there has been a lot of rain - remember this is the Somerset Levels.

Brook Farm is tucked away down the bottom of a village lane with wonderful views over watermeadows of the Somerset Levels towards Blackdown Hills. Grass is kept short, good choice of Hook Ups, very friendly owners, a really glorious spot, lots of footpaths in the area, which is lovely for walkers. Long Sutton has a good Spar Shop, fine Pub, lovely church - and lots of places to visit in the area - National Trust and others. Not far from Somerton, a charming town, or Langport for Supermarket. We arrive with the intention of going to National Trust places nearby - and just enjoy the camp site itself instead! Birds and other wildlife and the views keep us happy!
No WC, so bring your own PortaLoo but easy to use Chemical Disposal.
There are Hard Standings with Hook ups if needed.
We have been staying at this site two or three times a year since 2006, and always love returning. It is easily accessed from A303, or M5. So a wonderful stop for those coming from the Home Counties going down to Cornwall! - Worth spending a few days en-route!

This site is in the village of Long Sutton. The site is an large open level field surrounded by low hedges giving a lovely view over the Somerset Levels. It might be a bit exposed if windy. There is limited hard standing,
There are no toilets or showers. There is an information shed with books and magazines to borrow and recycling and Elsan emptying point.
There is a duck enclosure near to the entrance of the site and they are very vocal - (which I loved - they always sound as if they are laughing ) not everyone agrees. You can also feed the chickens who are a bit further away and not very vocal.
It is a short walk to the really well stocked village store and the Devonshire Arms Hotel ( we didn't eat here so don't know what it is like). The church is worth a visit. It's a good area for walking/cycling.
Ther are several National Trust Properties to visit within easy reach ( you do have to take a car or your van offsite). The Fleet Air Arm museum and the Haynes motor museum are well worth a visit and are both nearby.
There is no playground so I think that the site is better suited to adults who are not bothered about the lack of facilities.
We loved this site and will certainly be returning.
