 This is a small, neatly kept campsite located next door to the much larger Camping Conca d'Oro, and sharing with it the access road from the P167 road between Feriolo (Bavena) and Fondotoce (Verbania).
We liked the small size of the site, only 47 pitches, and the entire site was beautifully maintained with even the beach being swept every morning. All pitches have EHU, and most have some shade from mature trees.
All the toilet and washing facilities are at the end of the site near the reception and bar, of good standard, and thoroughly cleaned at least once every day. However the small size of the site means no-one has too far to walk. A coin-operated Washing machine and Dryer are available. There is a chemical emptying point.
There is a private beach at the other end of the site which shelves gently and is safe for children, and just a few pitches have direct lake frontage for which an extra charge applies. We had a pitch a little back, and didn't feel we missed out on anything. At one end of the beach is a good sized boat park, and launching from the site beach would be very easy.
There is a small shop with just a few essentials, a bar and snackbar in season, and English is spoken by most of the very friendly staff. Wifi is available. There is a small children's playground.
Cycling or walking into the attractive village of Feriolo, with its cafes and restaurants, is very easy along a dedicated cyclepath/footpath.
The site is central to a vast selection of touring destinations, notably the Borromean Islands.
