Fantastic place to stay close to town so facilities a walk away.

Lovely staff and service from a fantastic pub with very reasonable priced meals that never leave you feeling empty, the pies are a must but bring your appetite.

A quiet, sheltered and flat paddock at the back of the pub with ample room for each unit. We were given a warm welcome at the pub by the landlady and the locals and enjoyed a lovely evening meal sitting by a log fire. We shall certainly be returning to this lovely little site.

We stayed here for 1 night and were glad we did. What a charming little sight. A small field behind an extremely nice friendly pub. We didn't try the food but it looked good. No showers or loos but they had hook ups. The only reason I docked a couple of points was I thought it was just a touch overpriced at £16. 00 but having said that I would definitely go again.

Visited this site in June 2014 to check out the real ales localy. The camp site is all grass CL site, very well sheltered. The landlady and her daughter and their team were great fun and the food was excellent. We sampled a few of the ox's ales and they where superb. There are one or two nice walks locally so no need to use the car. Horncastle is the local town (20 mins )walk away. Plenty of pubs and shops to check out.

Wonderful site, kept very tidy, behind the Durham Ox Pub, We were in Horncastle for a Rock and Roll Weekend, not expensive at all, electric hookup available, no toilets or shower blocks but not a problem as we used our own. Only £5 for a taxi into horncastle. We Stayed Sunday for the Carvery as well, It was lovely, good value for money. The owners were also very accommodating for our allergies. All and all would recommend this site.

 Nice caravan club cl site

Good flat field behind pub, Toilets in pub while pub is open No showers But good value at £12 including electric

The pub meals are very good and reasonably priced

Its one mile into Horncastle with all its shops/pubs take aways etc and a small Tesco (you have to pay in Tesco, s carpark but if you spend £3 or more you get your carpark money back so not too bad

Quiet at night Return? Yes we would
