A very good site but not a very interesting area for walks.
Things are much the same as in previous reviews, but a new ehu system has been introduced. A basic £20 per night, read the meter on arrival and before departure, pay what is owing by cash or bank transfer. Currently 37p per unit, but that will increase in April.
We ended up paying £24 for the week. Reasonable for such a good site.

Gems of a site, big spacious flat pitches. Fully serviced with very fast Wifi and excellent TV signal. Glorious countryside views, even had the pleasure of Hares playing on the grass alongside our pitch and not batting an eyelid when we took photos.
Easy access to Lincoln and the Newark Air Museum is definitely worth a visit, even has a Vulcan bomber on display. Owner Nicola is a lovely lady, gave us a warm welcome and is very relaxed to how you pitch.
Nice end to our 23 night tour and so much more relaxed and better than a few club sites we have been on at half the cost.

Lovely, well kept, tidy site, secure with coded electric gate entrance. Access is very easy, a few minutes off A46, there is some road noise, if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, but the ease of access far outweighs this. All arrival and entrance information is sent via email a few days prior to start of stay.
5 level, hardstanding, fully serviced pitches (electric, water tap and grey water drain), free WIFI, CDP, dog/boot wash and information hut.
The owners are friendly, informative and helpful without being intrusive. Booking online via their website. Payment by bank transfer. A deposit is required at time of booking, however, due to COVID, no deposit was requested for several weeks, as it was unclear whether our stay would be cancelled due to the pandemic.
Lincoln is within easy reach, with Cathedral, castle and Steep Hill. Plenty of shops - chains, independents and supermarkets. Newark, in the opposite direction is also easy to get to. The coastal resorts are approximately an hour away. Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is around 45 minutes drive and worth a visit. Another good day out is Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage at East Kirby airfield, with the Lancaster bomber, Just Jane, in the process of restoration, there are several of the buildings open, which were used during WW2, full of information and artefacts.
If you like fish and chips, recommend you go to Fish King in North Hykeham (about 4 miles away), delicious fish and chips, generous portions and reasonably priced, we ordered and paid online, they send an email when your order is ready to collect. They normally have a restaurant, but this was closed due to COVID.
Thoroughly recommend Skybarn Farm CL.

A Pleasant site, which is well managed and looked after.
A nearby footpath across fields is a useful dog walk or stroll.
Well maintained hardstanding pitches and easy access to site

Had a very good stay at Sky Barn CL. What a very good and well maintained site.
Very easy access to Lincoln and surrounding areas. Nicola and Richard were excellent hosts and very helpful if needed.
The information hut, has more information than a lot of Information centres we have visited.
Thank You

Our first visit to this site it’s a lovely place for a relaxing time away.
Excellent cl site lovely big pitches with nice views good walks round edge of fields for dogs. Excellent price for fully service pitch. Information hut with plenty of info on area and places to eat, books and dvds to borrow even some chairs.
Very friendly owners who have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and secure with locked gate.
Found a nice carvery (Windmill Farm)on way back from visiting Lincoln.

What a surprise this site proved to be! Very clean and well kept with other services well laid out and easily accessible.
The information hut is full of things to do in the area and proved very helpful despite the weather.
The key pad gate makes the site secure and access is not a problem.
We enjoyed our week there so much we booked a longer stay in August.
We haven't enter a rate regarding children as it doesn't apply to us however the site is quiet and safe.

A lovely well thought out CL site. Delightful. You need to be Members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club to book.
EHU and Hard standing, water and waste to each pitch. Grass around and kept short cut and collected. Plenty of dog walking routes around the edge of fields, map in the hut. The information hut has lots of local interest leaflets and some outside chairs to borrow, a lovely idea.
Lovely views across the fields. Just managing to see Lincoln Cathedral.
Park and ride at Waitrose is a must if going into Lincoln free with a OAP bus pass. Bomber Command Memorial near Lincoln is interesting to visit with a lovely cafe, left on the busy road out of the Farm to miss traffic. Whisby Nature Reserve another interesting place to visit, some people walked from the site but just too far for us, a cafe there, a children’s playground there too.
Good security and ease through the gate. Rachael and Richard are on hand for any help needed. Lovely extra large farm eggs to buy.
Rachael thank you for keeping us up to date when trying to book, quick to return e mails, confirmation on booking, and information when arriving. Very very organised. It’s rare.
Definitely on the list for a revisit.

This is a very nicely laid out 5 unit C&MC certified location.
It is secure with a coded access electric gate. The pitches are large hard standings with plenty of space between and ample grass surrounding the pitches. It is flat with great views towards Lincoln etc etc. The cathedral can be seen easily.
There is an information hut packed with tons of interesting stuff. It is in a rural area yet only minutes from the A46 Newark to Lincoln road.
If you need help or advice the friendly owners are adjacent always ready to help.
A little gem of a site.
