 Please note we have been advised that the campsite at this location has closed, and no longer offers camping, motorhome or caravanning pitches, however they do have cottages to rent 12 months of the year. We loved the location and walks nearby. There was ample space.
We were disappointed that only one of the hook ups was a 16amp socket, the rest being 6amp. Meaning you couldn't boil a electric kettle or use microwave without tripping the electric.
The owner is aware of this, but made it clear he had no intention of changing it. 'You've got the view, and I'm not made of money'. You don't pay for a hook up to have to use gas for a cuppa!
Just feel it should be stated when booking.

Andrew and Sue were very helpful and welcoming. Views superb of Lincolshire Wolds and lakes. Walks over the wolds to pub in Scamblesby.
Perfect for a relaxing weekend to get away from it all. Cadwell Park, Louth and Horncastle all close by. Water and electric on each pitch. Level pitches.
Belchford also close by with nice pub.
