 A gem of a site close to the border and a short and very regular bus journey away from Maribor old town. Hits all the buttons.
Uncharacteristically we emailed to check on availability the day before and were glad we did as some that hadn’t booked were turned away.
The owner is very welcoming and speaks good English.
The hard standing pitches are flat, well laid out, spacious, with ehu, water points and facilities block close by.
The facilities block are modern and kept meticulously clean they also contain a fridge, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Outside there are clothes lines.
Accepts ACSI & the free wifi flies.
The bus stop is a short flat walk away in the town of Pohorska which has a few restaurants, bars, cafes and a well stocked supermarket.
Need to be aware that it’s cash only and reception is open between 8. 00 – 10. 00 and 19. 00 – 20. 00 hours though the owner does seem to make an appearance for a short while around 14. 00.
Would have no hesitation returning.

Top class site with excellent facilities, including the laundry. Since our visit 6 years ago, the trees have grown and the gardens matured. Everything is lovingly cared for by very helpful owners.
Free WiFi worked throughout. Calling to break the journey to Croatia and Bulgaria for a night, we stayed 4 days.
Local shops are a short walk and we cycled into Maribor (about 6 km) on bike paths all the way. Highly recommended.

Arrived without a reservation, the site was very busy due to a mountain biking competition going on next door but the friendly receptionist (who spoke German and English) found us a spot for the night.
The pitches are a good size with power and water close by and the sanitary block whilst not luxurious was perfectly adequate and clean. The motorhome service point is right by the entrance.
Its an easy cycle ride into Maribor and there are several supermarkets nearby. The site accepts ACSI and payment is cash only.
