Nice quiet site, clean with excellent showers,
Short walk into Shaldon large choice of good food pubs and cafe's.
Seems mostly seasonal pitches and other pitch availability seem limited best to book in advance.

The campsite was fantastic it was clean and tidy each pitch had plenty of space
11 out of 10 for the facilities and very friendly staff. It was great to relax in the peace and quiet to enjoy the view over the river and valley specially at sun rise it was out of this world.
Sheldon village has some great pubs and restaurants if your young and fit it's a great walk from the campsite I will be going again next season for a longer stay this time.
We have family in Teignmouth that we don't see that much staying at Long meadow farm just the other side of the river made catching up very easy.
There only very slight drawback I thought it was an asset it meant the grandkids and my wife had to stay off their phones and do what we used to back in the day that was in the evenings to sit around the table with food and drinks and entertain ourselves no wi fi happy days

Our initial criteria was 2 ready tents and dog for two mums and respective children. I found this by searching and was impressed at how efficient the owner was at responding.
The campsite is very basic but clean. It is as the name suggests a long meadow! The three ready tents are at the entrance to the campsite with the rest of the field for caravans and tents. There are probably about 30 pitches. At the ready tent end there are two showers and a loo for females and the same for the men.
At the far end of the site is the washing up and other loo block.
The showers and loos are clean but my children managed on two occasions to lock themselves in the loo and shower as the locks were very stiff and I cut my finger! There was always loo paper but the lights only came on when it was dark, which was a pain as if dull outside you couldn't really see very well in the loo. The shower was a start button which is fine but the gap between the shower and the door meant you had hardly any room to change. !
The site also had a few horses and sheep and clearly was a working farm there also appeared to be storage available for boats and other caravans.
The site was quiet but I have to say a tad dull. It had no buzz about it at all, no one seemed to be there even though there were quite lot of motor homes. I saw two people appear to leave to work, so may some people stayed here long term.
We paid £45 a night for the cabanon ready tent, which I thought was a fair price, The tents were new and clean and came with very basic beds a fridge and some kitchen stuff. There is a minimum stay of 3 nights.
I wouldn't return to this site as there was very little room even for the kids to just play, however it was clean and purposeful and in a great location for getting out and about.

This site is situated about 2 miles from Teignmouth down a narrow road. Rates are reasonable and the facilities were spotless. Showers are free but they are the type where you have to hold the button down. There`s not too much space for a lot of tents which is great if you like it quiet. There are several animals here but they seem to go to bed before us campers. All in all a nice pleasant site in a great location. Just the right distance from the town.

We stayed here for two nights, after searching for somewhere to camp near to Shaldon. Booking the campsite was easy via email, and the owner requested a deposit which was no problem. The site was situated in Shaldon, but was a little walk down to the centre and sights.
The site itself was great, with stunning views across the estuary, and being on a farm there were plenty of animals to pet and see.
Facilities wise very good, clean and tidy if a little dated in areas.
All our fellow campers were very friendly and smiley, so a good sign of a happy campsite, thumbs up to the owners.
To sum up a hidden gem really, Shaldon too, we would certainly return in the future, and would definitely buy some of the farms sausages again. Lovely!
