We stayed at this cl overnight on our way to the ferry but we could have stayed longer. Its a lovely site in a great location.

The pitches are large & flat looking out over open fields & countryside with the owners horse in one of the fields.

Definitely recommend as an overnight stop on the way to a ferry or longer if wanting to explore Winchester & surrounding areas.

No shower or toilets so need your own facilities but has EHU, fresh water, waste water & chemical disposal, plenty of bins & very clean. Good value at £15 per night

Nice clean and clear site with friendly owners. Open field but protected from winds etc. We passed the site twice before seeing it as the entrance is between bungalows on the road. The site is at the back of the buildings with horse paddocks behind that. Very peaceful and quiet and not to far to Winchester.

Hi, just returned from a one night stopover at Waterwells Farm C/L site near Winchester. What a surprise, on entering the driveway you may think Oppps this can't be the place however don't be fooled it is. Waterwells Farm Site is exultant well kept, clean and tidy with a nice level field, although on this visit the owner thought it best not to venture out on to the designated grass pitches as the ground was still rather soft due to all the bad weather. He kindly found us a handstand and provided us with an extra long cable to reach the electric point. Nice site with very helpful owners.

This is a lovely little site (not so little, more an acre than half an acre), dead level, overlooks the owner's horse paddocks and then a nice view over fields and woods.

Access is easy from the M3 in either direction, there is a little bit of narrow road (parking on both sides. Not single track#, otherwise it's fine. The site entrance is between houses but plenty wide enough. There is a gate which is locked at night.

The owner is friendly and helpful, the grass is kept short with no bits, the bins are emptied often, everything is very clean and tidy.

It's in the village of Colden Common which has a Co-op, chip shop and Chinese take away. Winchester #rubbish shops but plenty of history# and Eastleigh #loads of shops, rubbish town# are both nearby.

There are nice walks round about and the lovely river Itchen, a Pub called the Dog and Crook which has good food #too pricey for us).

No loos and showers, but it's a CL after all. No hardstandings but the ground seems very well drained.

£11 per night which is fine.
