 We stopped for one night while travelling south over the Pyrenees. We had not booked and were pleased to find a friendly site that made a good place to pause on our trip.
The site was busy with a lot of people similar to us using this as a stop over spot. We had not booked and arrived late afternoon, but by the evening the site seemed full. The site is on the main road so easy to find, we did not experience excessive road noise though. The staff were helpful and spoke enough English to our tiny amount of Spanish to book in. We were guided to a pitch which gave enough room for our Motorhome and space to cook and sit. It was an open space with no boundary fence or plants, so with all the pitches occupied it lacked privacy. From our experience of Spanish sites this was reasonably generous though. The site has a lot of static caravans and people who are staying for a holiday, so the site catered for a large number of people. We saw no other GB number plate on the site, this is definitely a popular Spanish campsite.
The site has a dammed stream where you could swim which was rather cooling, there is a small swimming pool with a life guard, tennis court, shop, restaurant so plenty of activity places for kids. The toilet/shower facilities are in good condition and well maintained. There were times though when the facilities were at full capacity and you needed to queue.
We did not explore the area as we were driving through. You are in the mountains though, so the area has amazing views and in the evening we saw large birds riding the thermals. There are walks into the forest in the immediate area and other mountain activities that could be taken advantage of.
A good place to stop for a night or for a little longer I would say.
