We had a wonderful stay at this campsite which is in a great location and a part of France that we will visit again in a few years time. We found the lakes region through the wild swimming book which gave us lots of idyllic spots off the beaten track places to visit.
The site itself is large but not overwhelming so. There are lots of children running around but they do seem to respect the curfew and the site is quiet from 10pm.
The pitches are ok size wise but if you have a massive tent you may not fit we only just did with our Outwell 5. The facilities are good and generally clean. The pool is great and a blessing when the temperature hit 40 degrees. The ability to order bread every day was boos and made us remember we were in France rather than a campsite in France.
My only negative comments are there is no real shop on site, the information for visitors about places to go is limited although there are two computers to use, there is no light on in the toilets at night, there is no cold water in the washing up area meaning you need to brush your teeth with warm water, and bizarrely there is no sink in the toilet area to wash your hands you have to walk all the way round to the washing area.

We stayed for five nights in order to see what this part of the Jura has to offer.
The camp site is located in a good location close to the town of Lons le Saunier and in the 'Region des Lacs' (the Jura lake district). It is very convenient for the Lac du Vouglans, Baume les Messieurs and the Cascades du Harrison as well as the many lakes and walks in the area.
Pitches tend to be of a good size and flat. There are three unisex wash blocks which are well maintained and kept clean. There is no toilet paper provided. Showers are good but fixed temperature of which the temperature might be too cool for some people. The lights in the toilet block went out before 11pm and you would need a torch if using the blocks after this time. There is no sink in the toilet area of the wash blocks which meant that most users either washed their hands in the dish washing area or didn't bother - it would take a simple bit of plumbing for the site to do the decent thing and install a hand wash sink. There was a light by the water point near our pitch which shined brightly across our pitch and sleeping area. If staying again I would cover the light so that shade fell on the pitch.
There is both an indoor and outdoor pool on the site and while they were busy they are of good size for the number of campers on the site. There are a lot of activities on site with lots of play areas and activities for children including a bouncy castle.
A restaurant and bar area, operated by the camp site, is outside the main camping area on the other side of the road. The meals we had were very good for the price paid although the level of service was mixed. However there was no bar area or terrace in the main camping area where you could sit for a coffee or evening drink.
The camp site has no shop, although bread and croissants are available to order for the morning. Local shops are in the village which is a 10 minute walk from the site. The site Wifi was a bit useless during our stay possibly due to too many users on the site.
We would use the camp site again if visiting the region as we enjoyed our time on site.

A very easy to find site, plugged the postcode and street into the Tom Tom and it took us right outside the site.
Good English spoken (although there were a large number of Dutch people staying).
On arrival, the owner told us they had endured a lot of rain over the previous few weeks, and to be safe, she gave us several pitches 'to try' in case the first one was too waterlogged.
Although all the pitches were soft under the weight of the van (and indeed our feet), they were of a good size, and had we erected the awning, we would still have had plenty of space for the car and chairs for lounging.
We had a pitch at the far end of the site, and had neighbours 2 or 3 times per day (cows) but they were ever so quiet!
Facilities:
On arrival we were asked if we would like to order fresh bread each day, which we did, and this was as described - pick up after 8am each morning.
Activities - plenty of stuff to do, crazy golf, badminton, football etc, all equipment provided at the reception at no cost.
Toilets - 2 large blocks, which by day were very clean, but if I had to pick a downside, it was that the sink areas had NO lighting, so if you wanted to brush your teeth - it was very dark (I am sure most of those camping would say the same)
Pool - didn't take advantage of this as forgot the french speedo type swimming stuff, but a decent sized pool with a couple of bubble pools inside, and an outdoor pool with a slide (also saw a bouncy castle on the way to the pool)
Overall - a nice site that we would consider again, it looks like it is a popular ite when the weather isnt so wet.
