 Visited for the second year running and are planning a third visit next year which is testament to the beauty of this very well maintained site. A beautiful, quiet and peaceful location which is well placed for all areas particularly the west side of the island. Visiting swans are an additional charm. Owners Julian and Stephanie are very warm, friendly and welcoming. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Just stayed 3 days at this campsite, and in one word IDYLLIC. Stephanie and Julian are your ideal hosts, they make you feel very welcome from the minute you arrive until you leave. The site is very peaceful and beautifully kept, within the most lovely setting. We actually arrived without our kettle, but Julian quickly sourced us one to use for the duration of our stay. We cannot recommend this site and its host's highly enough, we will definitely be returning to this wonderful hideaway.

We arrived at the site and was greeted by the owner Julian. He directed us to our pitch and couldn't have been more helpful. He told us that on the Saturday evening he and his wife Stephanie were organising a BBQ and invited us to join with the other visitors from the other 4 pitches.
The site was very well maintained, the grass had been mown earlier that day. It was extremely peaceful, no traffic noise or barking dogs!
The site toilet was very clean. Visitors without showers in their units are able to use a self contained unit within the owners house for £1. 00. Julian told us that he intends to fit a shower cubicle by the site toilet in the near future.
The fishing lakes are a fishermens delight with both coarse and trout lakes.
There are general stores within a mile from the site and good food pubs within the same distance.
There are also several good beaches within a couple of miles.
We cannot recommend this CL highly enough, an island gem!

We stayed at this wonderful site for two nights whilst touring the Island. The owners Julian and Stephanie could not have been more welcoming or helpful, they even went out of their way to help me mend my wife's push bike.
They have a fish farm on site with facilities for fishing. There is a cafe and shop selling home made produce such as smoked trout and smoked trout pate. There are lots of walks around the site and the area is ideal for cycling.
It you are up early you can even watch Sephanie feeding the fish. There was a large flock of Canadian Geese visiting whilst we were there which were Is a sight and a sound to behold.
The only thing that could improve the site in my opinion would be a shower. Everything else was 10/10.
