A very good no frills campsite. Len has rented the brewery to Nigel who now runs it independantly of the campsite.
Adequate but basic facilities with hard pitches and grass pitches available as needed.
Could accomodate a large group or party with a bit of notice. Has the feel of an undiscovered gem, you will not be crowded out here.
The brewery is a huge selling point, Nigel produces a range of award winning beers from his gold medal winning Gwyn (lethal stuff) to his top selling Melyn, modern New England IPA. Traditional Nutty Brown and his porter which matures well in the bottle and is worth putting down for a year or two. The beer sells out so quickly that it's rare for the full range to be available at any time.
Nigels opening hours are variable, but he will usually stick around if there is someone drinking beer.
Folk nights are now generally the first Saturday of the month and are actually a pretty eclectic mix of genres, styles and skill levels.

Great site.
Toilet in the field and a further one a few mins walk away, along with a shower, next to the brewery.
Great views of the Preseli hills and a short drive to the coast.
We really liked our visit to castell Henllys and Cwm yr Eglwys and the beer was top notch.

We arrived for 2 nights but stayed for 3, the scenic mountain views and sunsets are amazing.
A lovely safe child friendly environment for bike riding and kite flying.
A great place to get away from it all but close enough to beautiful beaches and walks.

Lovely location, facilities are basic but adiquate also clean and tidy. You book in at the brewery and get a free taster of real ale! The campsite was not too busy with plenty of choices to pitch up. Everyone was very friendly. A must visit if staying here is The Dyffryn Arms, Pontfaen (25 Min walk from campsite) where octogenarian landlady Bessie still serves Bass direct from the cask via a glass jug. This is a rare unspoilt pub to be treated with respect.
The only down side to this campsite is that you can't use the shower when they are brewing as it trips out the electric! If we were told this on arrival, we could have worked around this problem.

Wonderful breathtaking views, great welcome especially with the ability to buy beer when we arrived. We were even lent glasses so we did not look too Neanderthal. Facilities were basic but enough for 2 cyclists on a cycle tour. Would have appreciated hot water for dish washing and a warning about the hungry wildlife!

As the owners have said the views at this location are breathtaking. It is so peaceful, overlooking the Preseli mountains and valley below, with Red Kites, and Buzzards flying overhead. To add to the tranquillity of this site there are sheep, chickens etc and not forgetting the two fat pigs who are especially grateful for any leftovers (our 2 grandchildren loved them ). Then of course there is the Brewery manufacturing lovely real ales using their own spring water for producing the ale. If you are lucky enough to be staying on Friday or Saturday, the Brewery is open from 7pm, however, on a Saturday night is the night where local musicians turn up and Sarah (co owner) plays an acoustic set with an abundance of musicians who turn up to join in the music night. If you can play, or sing take your instrument you are guaranteed a good night! Although the area is slightly remote you are only 5 miles from Fishguard or 4miles from Newport Pembs. As far as driving to location we have done two routes we have done the B4313 and the B4329 both are within the scope of touring a caravan with no problems. Hook up can be provided but a phone call to owners first would be advisable for a caravan.
