Positives:
1/ very pleasant site with superb location. Beach is 5 minute walk, the town is 5 minute walk with plenty of places to eat. Supermarkets and open market on certain days. Access in and out and to it is Brilliant. 2 hrs from Dunkirk and 20 minutes from Bruge. Hence it was very convenient.
2/ The staff are very very friendly and very helpful. Iv'e never been asked before ' how would you like your name pronounced' simple thing but really shows you how friendly they are.
3/ The facilities are good. Very clean toilets all the time and shower as well.
4/ water/electric/ antenna on each pitch (different electric connection, make sure you take the two pin connection for the hook up, check with them, luckily I had all 3 kinds with the camper).
5/ wash area and rubbish with recycling ( the actually give you the bags when you first come in. Full size recycle bag and another for the rubbish.
6/ the pitches are well laid out with a hard concrete half and grass on the other half for the owning.
Bad points:
1/ the toilets and shower area always smelt bad, not sure why. I did not mind not having tissue in the toilet that everyone complains about toilet roll. I did not mind that, but not having a sink in the toilet room at all!so you leave without washing your hands at all and open the door to go to the shower room with the sinks.
2/ there was one shower and 2 toilets for a huge area. And another on the other side. That was never a problem as I did not have to wait at all. Maybe because we were placed in the are with static campers and everyone had their own toilets. But on the last day a few families arrived with children, so not sure if this creates a problem.
3/ the shower is coin operated. $1 for the token and gives you 8min. You can stop it any time with the sensor and start it again at the same temperature you left it. Brilliant. But I found out the hard way even with pausing it you have a maximum of 12 minutes. I had to get the shower gel one day after I paid, got in the shower, 5 minutes on it was off. So I found out the hard way you have 8 min of water and 12 min total time in the shower. This is not a bad point, but to be aware of.
4/ nothing natural about the place. You park and walk to the beach. No trees nothing. Blocks with campers and caravans and small children' area. Again, not a problem because we slept and drove to bruge in the morning or walked down the beach.
On the whole, you cannot really fault the place. Facilities are very good albeit different to what I expect. Everything is on the pitch from electrics to waste and water supply. Very friendly and fantastic locations to go places.
I always ask myself, would I go again, not sure about this one. It ticked all the boxes but it was too commercialized for me.

Stayed here on the way back to the Tunnel from Germany for two nights. The service was helpful, friendly and even though we arrived late there were instructions on our pitch and who to contact to check in.
The pitches were level and well kept with power for every four pitches on a post. You'll need a converter to a continental plug if you need to hookup. You can get water from taps connected to a large tree trunk that looks a bit like a tree with basins to sort of match it. Overall they are not massive pitches but they do vary. They also arrange pitches one behind the other so it looks like you've blocked someone in. However they organise it so longer term campers are penned in.
Washroom and loos are clean and we saw them being cleaned at around 0630 in the morning. There is no loo roll in the toilets so take your own to save junior members of the family shouting at top of their lungs to get some. The other strange thing is the tokens needed for hot water. Understand for the shower, but for washing hands and doing dishes all needed a magic coin that cost one euro! We boiled the kettle and used the 'vans hot water. The magic hot water token gives 8 mins of shower time and the shower is digital so you can pause it without loosing time. It also beeps two minutes before the end.
The site has a large playground and during the main season it has activities for younger kids. It was well maintained and looked safe but then I didn't try all of it.
Over the large road are the dunes and sea, with vast expanses so you are not crowded in. Careful though as there is the naturist section close by.
There is the coastal tram system which runs from the Dutch border down to the French border. The stop is only 10 mins walk if that. From here you can get into Oostend and explore or get the train to Brugge or Brussels. Tickets for the tram are on sale a little kiosks on the main tram halts and the people who man them give advice on best ticket combinations and places to go.
There are lots for restaurants for all price brackets as well as supermarkets in walking distance (LIDL'S and Delhaze). Also plenty of places to get frites and moules and Belgian waffles. 2 mins walk from reception is a bakery to get fresh bread, croissants and pastries from. There is also a camping shop over the road as well, with an aladins cave of stuff and camping gadgets.
Access to the site is easy but once on site care is needed to get onto a couple of pitches with caravan.
Overall the site was nice, tidy, well kept and quiet, location great but it became a running joke in the family about 'you'll need a token for that'.
The site has very good wifi if you need to check stuff or book ahead etc, but you guessed it, you'll need a token for that!
