No exaggeration: I think that this is the loveliest site that we have stayed on. It's set in attractive farmland about 4 miles from the nearest village.
There not much to do within walking distance, although after we left, I did notice on the OS app that there is access land across the road.
The owners have landscaped it beautifully. There are lovely gardens, little ponds well stocked with fish, and a little wood.
The facilities are fine: more than adequate for the small number of pitches.
There's a putting green and a room with maps and books ( mainly chicklit). But it is a most delightful, quiet environment for doing nothing very much, which was exactly what we felt we needed.
Richard, Jan and Emma are very laid back and welcoming.
I hope that we will be able to go again, for longer.

Beautiful site, very picturesque entrance, lovely large level pitches. Ample toilet, shower and dish was facilities.
Nice little dog walk on site for 1st morning and last night business.

Beautiful setting, lovely hardstanding pitch with water and electric hook up.
The site is in a great location access to the coast and inland between Bude and Barnstable.
Small site so very quiet in itself.
There was a noise from machinery nearby all night which might disturb light sleepers in a tent but no problem inside caravan.
Toilet and shower basic but adequate.

Hidden gem. I've been camping for over 50 years and this is my favourite site. Beautifully manicured site with topiary lined entrance driveway.
Two koi stoked ponds and a nature walk on site, amazing. Dark sky at night for stargazers.
The facilities we're perfect when I visited but could be limited if the site got busy.
Excellent chippy in the local village.
Very friendly owners, easy pre payment made for a stress free stay. 10/10

Lovely site. Well manicured &maintained.
Toilet facilities basic
Generous pitches with own water & EHU
Bad points. Wind turbine across the lane seriously needs servicing or failing that reporting to local council. Spoilt what would have been a glorious pitch.

An absolute little gem of a place. The owners are super friendly, and have put a lot of effort into this beautiful site. Lots of space for each unit on a very nicely landscaped site.
There’s a secure wooded area that dogs can run freely in which was nice as there’s no footpath leading directly from the site.
The facilities are limited, but good and clean.
An all grass site when we visited, but we’ve booked to go again, and I’m told there’s some hard standings now.
