 We chose this site from the ACSI book for a stopover on our way south, it is not too far from the autoroute.
It is situated on the edge of a small town, a very short walk away, and has all the shops you might need plus a supermarket on the far side of the town.
We weren't sure how to get in as the building with the reception, bar etc is on the roadside and has doors there, but the access is actually inside through the gates. The site is terraced but the pitches are flat and grassy.
We were made very welcome, it was quiet out of season. The lady warden showed us an area slightly higher up and invited us to pitch there. There were no dividers to the pitches, just along the back.
There is an old outdoor style sanitary block where there is hot water for washing up only, and a newer indoor block with heating, but limited facilities. A nice disabled bathroom, plus 2 more toilets and showers, all very clean.
Next door is a bar, which was used by locals in the evening. At the back of the site and also higher up are a number of wooden chalets, and at the very far end but next to the road is a fishing lake. There had been a lot of rain as we arrived, and when we walked round the site, the roadway towards the lake was flooded.
We would use this site again as a stopover.

Billed as a good site for stopover on the way south, which is what we used it for. Reasonable sized pitches, though wouldn't fancy it when full. There were 12-15 units on the site when we satyed and though the facilities were clean and inside there simply were notenough of them. 2 unisex toilets and 2 unisex showers were inadequate. We both had to wait for use of either loo or shower on several occasions.
Play areas were very tired looking.
That said the proprietors were friendly and helpful, the site is well placed when travelling south and an easy stroll into town for a great boulangerie.
Would certainly use it again as a stopover site.
