Pretty site, good walks & close to pub but could do with hot water for washing up, only 1 shower and 1 toilet if shower toilet cubicle occupied.
Still needed £1 coin for 5 min shower with no notice of time running out.

Great email interaction with Leigh who was quick to reply, courteous and helpful.
Lovely small and idyllic campsite.
My husband, dog and I stayed for 2 quiet nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
It's small, about 10 ish pitches, with clean amenities, lovely walks and views.
A small stroll to village which has a spar and a pub.
Would definitely recommend 😊

This is a beautifully peaceful adults only site
It was wonderful to listen to so many bird songs
The owner was very friendly and helpful
We loved that you could hire a fire pit
The site has plenty of taps and the toilets were clean - only 2 - mixed sex. Only 1 shower - so not sure how this would work if the site was full. The washing up sink had a shelter but no hot water.
We’d definitely go back but felt it was slightly over priced

Lovely small campsite in a great spot with a river running by and lots of birds.
Basic facilities but was fine for our needs.
Great woodland walk nearby.
Friendly and very helpful owners.

This is an absolute gem of a campground.
Just returned after a three night stay.
Adult only campground, dog friendly with a beautiful woodland walk /waterfall straight off the site.
Very clean toilets, shower and washing up area.
Nice and small with room for five caravans/ motorhomes and five tents. Just the sound of the stream and birds, pub and corner shop within walking distance.
Short drive to Bala Lake and Llangollen.
Leigh very helpful and accommodating can’t wait to return.

We have been there a few times before & always been made very welcome.
6 amp electric is adequate for our needs. Site is clean & in a great position for nature lovers.
The valley is hidden & next to a stream which is a run off from an old reservoir.
Village has a decent Spar shop & a pub that is OK, meals not served on Mon & Tues.
Excellent walks above the site or lower down by the River Dee. Not for those who want TV & phone signal.

Lovely site, quiet and very nice
Close to amenities on site. toilet and shower clean and tidy, need a pound to use shower for 5 mins, water close by
Only issue is electric tripped a few times as it’s only 6 amp fuse box but ok
Nice scenery and place
Nice owner friendly

A well placed very pleasant site near a waterfall and natural rock pool which is just a short stroll through the trees.
A ten minute walk down the hill brings you to the village pub which also serves meals and a spar and a bus stop with buses running to places of interest.
The site itself is fairly basic, only one shower, but this didn't prove to be a problem as when we were there most motorhomes and caravans used their own facilities.
There is a meter for the showers which used old pound coins obtained from, nan, the site manager. Good hot shower though.
There are several taps for drinking water and a place for emptying chemical waste, this could do with a sign on it.
The site would benefit from a place to wash dishes as there is just an outdoor cold water sink.
All in all a good site for stopping off to explore this beautiful part of North Wales.

This is a hard review to write, don't want to say anything nice and keep this site to myself, HOWEVER. What a place, can't comment on the site facilities due to the lockdown.
The Site is perfect, no phone signal, no internet connection, peace and quiet, clean air bird song and the sound of the river.
Brilliant walks from the site along the Dee to Corwen. Decent pub in the village and a well stocked Spar across the road.
Only thing to look out for is it's a single track road to the site, so beware if towing.
If you want a totally chilled break, this is the site for you.

This is a wonderful campsite in a beautiful location. We loved the waterfall and were very tempted to have a swim. Excellent dark skies for star watching.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and keep the facilities immaculate. During our stay we visited Portmerion, travelled to the tip of the Llyn Peninsula, Anglesey and got the Steam Train to the top of Snowdon.
We hope to return to this excellent site. Purchased a Welsh phrase book to learn a few words. Diolch yn fawr iawn
