 This has to be the friendliest site I have ever visited. The owner met me at the gate and offered me a cup of tea or coffee after I had parked up !
The site is small but well laid out with a variety of places to park or pitch. The toilet / shower room is huge and very clean. There is only the one but this is fine. Lashings of hot water available at all times.
The best bit about the site is the way you really are treated as friends visiting the owners home. In addition, there is a great communal area in an old barn like structure with comfy sofas, a table, plates, cups etc, a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities, all free. And finally, there is a fridge that has a few cold beers inside that are also free !
Various campers pitch up and sit down and chat into the night.
If you want a regimented camp site with modern facilities and everything nicely manicured, then don't come here. If you want an experience more like a beach bar in Thailand, a bit rough around the edges but exuding a certain calm and tranquillity, then this is the place for you.
