We checked this site out on a previous visit to the area and promised ourselves we would return in the summer months.
If you are a person you enjoys peace and quiet and nice surrounding countryside then I don, t think you will be disappointed with this site.
There are 4 hard standing pitches on level ground, electric hook up, that is connected via a small toilet building to the side of the site ( organised when booking over the phone ) and the usual water point and chemical disposal point.
The gentleman who runs the site is friendly and helpful with any queries you may have.
The surrounding countryside has lots of nice walks, if you enjoy that sort of thing and for all your shopping requirements the town of Clitheroe is a 20 min drive away.
The only possible downside is the final few miles to the site is not the easiest drive when towing a caravan, but having said that we managed it without any problems.

If you want peace & solitude then this site is just the place. The only noise we heard for most of our five day stay was sheep, curlew & oyster catchers!
Harrop Chapel has four hardstanding pitches with one grassed. Electric hook up needs to be arranged with the owner [Mr. Robinson] before hand to ensure that the relevant cable has been installed from the toilet block. One supply feeds two pitches so you will need to be careful with the electrical loads that you draw, especially in winter.
There is a toilet block [no shower though] adjacent to the, still in use, chapel. The fresh water supply, CDP and refuse bins are at the rear of this block but you will need a long length of water hose as the tap is at the furthest corner from the roadway. Motorhomers beware!
The site location, at the base of Easington & Harrop Fell, is great for walking on the open fells although it can be a bit muddy in places especially within the forested area. The pubs at Sawley & Grindleton are both within walking distance – just! Slaidburn is close by and on our visit the annual steam engine rally was in progress. It was a 7 mile cycle ride along an undulating side road.
One minor criticism of the site would be the length of grass [in June 2015]. However that might have been because of the wildflowers within the grass and maybe the area is cut after flowering is over.
We thought that £12 per night with electric was reasonable and we would recommend the site for a peaceful, relaxing stay.
