We were last in Millau some 8 years ago. A lot has changed since then.
This is a small(ish), quiet, family run site. Large, generally flat pitches, well shaded by a variety of broadleaf trees.
The pitches on the river bank, however face south and are in full sun.
Ehu points are grouped in pods in a somewhat random pattern so be prepared to have an extension cable. Connection is standard European blue, except one pod which is french 2 pin.
The sanitaires by the entrance have hot/scalding water in the washing/washing up areas and in the wash hand basins. Bizarrely the water in the showers is just warmer than tepid, Paper is provided in the toilets.
The free wi-fi has a good and sustained signal. It is unlimited in the number of appliances and duration of use.
There is a small unheated pool and a little bar/cafe which does extremely good “frites”.
In the layby just outside the camp is the start for the little tourist train which trundles into town and out to the viaduct. There is also a very good cycle path into town( 5+ minutes) which then continues along new promenade along the Tarn.
This would be our site of choice in the Millau area ( it is also cheaper!)

While I agree with most of the first review, we were located by the river (lot of flies) and the site is gilding the lily a bit claiming wifi throughout the site. Often had to walk about till signal received and even then about. 5 mb.
However - it is included in the 2016 price of €11 which is really good vfm.
Decent sanitary facilities. Two loo blocks but only newer one has showers.
Millau is much commercialised since our last time here many years ago and there are a lot of good facilities for the young - BMX course, skate park, adventure park, canoe slalom on river etc and night club type music you hear on the site at night.
Some local workers on site in tent and caravan we reckoned, but quiet people.
Overall a decent, cheap, less commercialised site suitable for families or couples,

A relatively quiet small site by the river slightly further from the town than the more commercial offerings, but within easy cycling distance.
A helpful friendly youngish couple run this site and it was incredible value at 10 Euro (ASCI) per night including electric and WIFI. Facilities were fine, including a small pool. Some limited play equipment for children. Great for couples wanting a quiet spot, perhaps not so brilliant for families.
We enjoyed a long stay here as there is plenty to do, with safe cycling routes, interesting walks, old villages within driving distance, and the fantastic Millau viaduct. Millau is an attractive town and has a famous weekend flea market that occupies all of the streets. While we were there this was combined with a cycling festival, so loads going on.
We hiked to a local waterfall, and were rewarded with the sight of a fledgling eagle owl that came to rest on a boulder about 10 feet away. We also walked the hills high above the town which provide spectacular views over the town and the viaduct.
Loved this place/site and would return tomorrow.
