 We stayed at this camp site for 1 night as we were visiting the Heritage steam railway close by, which has been recently renovated.
The campsite is fine for short or long stay, toilets were clean and looked as if it had been recently rebuilt.
If you camp down by the river it is a long way to walk to the toilets, but worth the effort for the peace and tranquillity in that section. That area of the site is fine for tents with no electrics. The approach to the camp site is easy.
There is a swimming pool, and the Doux river banks onto the site for other activities. There is also a small basic bar and restaurant where breakfast can be ordered.
The complete site, and each pitch, is covered with high mature trees, providing shade during the hot summer, they might hinder the larger Motorhome when parking up. All Pitches have just 10 Amp electric bollards.
