Very nice camping site, very good access to get there, a bit crowdy there, so better to have motormover when parking your caravan.
The beach is close to the campsite.
Very nice staff, friendly and helpful.
We had a good time, and managed to see a lot of beautiful places around.

This was a difficult site to find as we had to take the central dual carriageway from the town and through a tunnel. The site was between the main road and a noisy railway line with a footpath under the line towards the sea and the private beach area. A lot of the pitches were covered with sun shelters but motorhomes were parked on a grassy area. The site plan showed three pitches on the area opposite our motorhome but we watched the owner shuffle 5 units onto the space making it very tight. The owners were friendly and the man spoke good English but the whole experience seemed money grabbing. The site had clean toilets but hot showers were charged at 50c and of the two showers during our stay, one gave no hot water and the other was barely luke warm and switched off after 2 minutes. The toilets had seats but no paper. There were very few water points on the site and people seemed to use the washing sinks for water. The motorhome filling tap was 2. 50 euros. Electricity was only 3 amp and wouldn’t run our kettle. The shop was just about empty of stock in September but bread was available in the mornings. We found the surrounding area just a bit run down and dirty with litter strewn on the street between the railway tunnel and beach. The whole area seems run down and in recession with boarded up buildings. The beach was shingle but did have lovely views. We weren’t allowed our dog on the site beach but took him to the public beach further along. We found this site disappointing and would not return.
