Great area and campsite, 10 mins by bike to city and 25 mins walking which is fine because it means that the campsite is green and peaceful. €27 for 2 people with cci card everything included water elec. Hot showers, swimming pool and wifi! Lovely english girl and a italian guy with a good sense of humour (first one we've met so far!) at the reception. They gave us lots of advise and maps. Great eating tip in the city centre Osteria di Sogni, I think? We went to the wine producers they mentioned, Cerretto, absolutely gorgeous there, easy to reach by bike too, just a short climb the last little bit, but one of their workers passed in a van and asked if we wanted a lift up to the villa. Lots of good shops near by, we prefered Famila to Lidl, they were more helpful and a better choice of produce, again the receptionists helped up with our very basic italian, I can now ask for 200g of ham! Clean toilets in the campsite with toilet paper, although I did see some people pinching the toilet paper! Toilet paper is provided but once it's finished, or pinched that's it. They do have this rule written and I don't blame them. The warden also did his best as our adaptor broke and he lent us another one. The young warden also fixed the gears on my bike. We've been travelling for two months and I think this is the best campsite so far, we stayed for a week and we didn't want to leave and so this is why I felt I had to write my first ever review. Last but not least the weather was fantasticly hot and so we really appreciated the swimming pool! Germans, swiss and dutch also at this campsite, and the few we talked to had good words to say about this campsite and area, two were regular visitors.

Entry to the site is via barrier after reception. I asked at reception if there was drinking water on the site only to be told that I would have to go back outside onto the 'aire' and pay 0. 60 Euros for 30 litres. There are hydrants on site for non drinkable water. Toilet block clean, only warm showers. No toilet paper. Fairly expensive at 34 Euros a night and no water.

I picked this site as their website states a 10 minute walk into the city centre. I doubt very much if Mo Farrah could run it in 10 minutes, it's a good 30/40 minute walk. Try and get there on market day.

About 100m from the site is a Lidl which has plenty of parking space.
