Well worth the 5 hour journey to get here! In the words of pa Larkin 'Perfick'
When you tell people that you are going to Ipswich for your holiday they think that your a little mad! Well I can assure that Ipswich and surrounding area is Britain at its finest. From idyllic villages to quintessential British seaside towns Suffolk has it all.
Combine all that with Bob and Mandy's superb little piece of Suffolk hidden away behind their bungalow giving you chance to simply unwind and leave the rat race behind, just what the doctor ordered!
We enjoyed it so much we are heading there again this year - I must be mad, or perfectly sane you decide!

Beautiful! This word is not enough- add peaceful, quiet, relaxing along with glorious views over the surrounding countryside - with a warm welcome from Bob and Mandy.
Excellent, clean loo facilities.
Water and electric to each pitch so no need to go and refill - just remember to empty your waste container.
Lovely even pitches - well spaced out with well mown grass.
Not forgetting Mandy's home made jams and chutneys. Delicious. There is an information hut to rival some bigger campsites! Near to the historic town of Hadleigh with good eating places for breakfast, lunch or evenings. Not far from Ipswich if you need a little retail therapy. Several NT places around, and historic WWII sites and nice beach at Felixstow - believe it! Shouldn't be missed. WE will be visiting again

We stayed in August for 2 weeks as our first visit to Suffolk and had a great time. As National Trust and English Heritage members we found plenty to do to keep us busy. The site owners could not have been more welcoming and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. When we had a problem in the bathroom Bob even called in during his break at a very busy time to check we were ok. A lovely flat, quiet site which felt roomy even when all 5 vans were on. A huge bonus was the individual water taps on every pitch which meant we could link up direct to the van so had constant water on tap. Waste and elsan facilities were well thought out and easy to use. No shower facilities but we usually use our own anyway and the new, single toilet was always clean and perfectly adequate. The icing on the cake was Mandy's delicious mince pies which kept us going on our way home! We would certainly recommend this site to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing break on an adults only site.

This is the second time I have used this site and on each occasion I have enjoyed the peace and tranquillity the site offers. For Bob and Mandy, the owners, this is the first year of running this site and they have made a fantastic job of setting the site up. Only 5 pitches, but each site has it's own water point and 3 out the 5 have their own elec supply, pitches 1 & 2 share a elec outlet. There are no showers and only one toilet, which is kept impeccably clean. First class waste water disposal points adjacent to the toilets. Bob & Mandy are excellent hosts, and the site is already proving popular with many returning campers.
Hadleigh is only a 5 min drive away with all the facilities you could need. Lovely walks in the area, and some lovely places to visit within easy reach.
If you looking for a lovely small site for peace and quiet then I can't recommend it enough.

Fairly easy access even for a very large twin axle.
Flat, level grass pitches. Views over fields(full of lambs) to woodland (rspb).
Very quiet, with a good clean toilet, a well thought out waste disposal area. Recycling. EHU and water on every pitch.
Constable country on your doorstep. No light pollution. Deafening birdsong. Deer in the woods. Whats not to like ?
No pub within walking distance but several good ones to choose from in Hadliegh and some very good food to be had. The Brewers arms in Polstead does the biggest battered fish ive ever seen !
The owners are lovely people who have done a great job setting up this new Cl
Will we be back ? YES !

A wonderful overnight stay in a scenic setting, with friendly owners where nothing is too much trouble (including sending us taxi contact details prior to our visit and a slice of delicious homemade carrot cake to have with our cuppa !) Quiet adult site, well set out on grass with toilet facilities, not as yet available, however currently being built. Electric and water individually available on all 5 pitches. Elsan point available. Recycling bins in place. Site is 1 mile outside Village where there is a pub restaurant as well as a hotel ( open to non residents for both the spa and restaurant). Ideal site for visiting the Ipswich area. Our stay was for a friends party in the village, however we will return in the future for a longer stay to include relaxation and sightseeing. Thank you both for the warm welcome.
