Little gem of a site tucked away on a working Livery stables. Super friendly staff and Liveries. Treated to Dressage grading on arrival.
Made very welcome. Been nuzzled, licked, nibbled and leaned against for treats. All with owners consent.
We will be back.
Plenty of hot water in basic facilities but owners are honest.
They are a very hardworking Livery (feed bedding saddlery grooming etc ) farm. 9/10.

Great spot, helpful staff but prices have gone up and I no longer think this site is value for money at £18 for a single person in a small camper for a night.
You have to pay for hookup whether you want it or not.
Shower extremely basic - shower head not even on a hook on the wall so you have to hold it all the time to use it.

Perfect location for Brands Hatch. Friendly and helpful staff. Level pitch with ehu. £14 per night. D
Ue to covid restrictions site facilities unavailable but my little camper is self supporting.
10 minutes walk to local pub/restaurant.
This is a working equestrian centre and not suitable for young children.

Easy access for our motorhome and trailer (13 metres) and plenty of space on the hard standing pitch which is level.
Electricity, water on site. Toilet block was clean. We stayed there in 2019 and will return when we're in the area again.
It is a working farm and it is charming to be around the horses.

Booked here last minute as made a mistake with which nights we could stay at Brands hatch which is very nearby.
Booking over the phone was easy with a polite lady on the other end. We weren't going to be arriving till late but details were given how to get through the locked gate.
There are only a few hard standing spaces which are in between the stables, paddocks and feed barns.
A table is provided with your space and there is plenty of space between you and your neighbour. The toilet and shower are next to the stables and although not looking nice they were clean and with hot water.
I'm not really a horse person but it was lovely seeing them all go out into the field in the morning and chatting to some of the horse owners as they got their horses ready.
We had to rush of in the morning so didn't get chance to try out the cafe though we did look in and the cakes and food looked good.
We paid £12. 00 for the night with electric and thought that was a good price.
I would definitely stay there again if in the area. If you like your camp sites spotless with modern toilets this site is not for you. If you are happy with basics and like peace and being on a farm environment then this place is ideal.

We stayed here for the first weekend in October for the BTCC racing at Brands Hatch. The site is a 15 minute walk to the Track along quiet country roads with no pavement. Once checked in we were left to our own devices. The site is on a working equestrian centre so expect movement of cars, people, horses and horseboxes, the weekend events included dressage. The showers & loos are shared with the horse owners/visitors but were clean with plenty of hot water. The hardstandings were level and well drained although the path to the facilities gets muddy when it rains. Overall a good site for what we needed - a peaceful base with easy access to Brands Hatch. We will use again

We booked for a weekend at Brands Hatch. On paper Speedgate is only half a mile from the circuit which it is when the paddock entrance is open. On test days or non race days that entrance is not open so you have a 3 mile journey to the main entrance. There is a good pub ten minutes walk away with good bar meals and beer.
The site itself is actually 5 hard standings in a busy stables/livery yard. When we stayed there was one toilet/ shower block which was very grubby and was used by the stables customers and anybody else. It would benefit from a deep clean but I would put money on that never happening. Reception is at the till of the stable/livery shop who will give you the code to the combination padlock to allow access before 7am and after 10pm. Our guess is that most of Kent know the code so lock everything up because there were some stary characters around!
For the money, an electric hook up and shower and toilet facilities are good value but with a bit more time invested, Speedgate could charge double the money and get good reviews.
