Very brisk when booking, no welcome on arrival and no instructions or details of pitches allocated. Site is basically someone’s back garden which is fenced off with big sign saying no riff raff.
No sign of owner on arrival day but facilities locked at 9. 30pm. So couldn’t use toilets or shower. No out of hours number to call.
Owner quite rude and not at all apologetic blamed us for not phoning her when we arrived.
We felt that we shouldn’t pay full price as we hadn’t had use of facilities another guest was sent to take pictures of us and our cars despite our objections.
Very rude and aggressive.
Would not recommend.

There is nothing to dislike at this site,
This is a perfect site if travelling on the m6 for a break.
Very clean and quiet site.
We enjoy staying here as it’s quit and Penrith is just down the road.

Site on busy access road to M6. Traffic noise all day and night. Tight access for large unit. Did not see owner apart from making payment. Would have been nice to be welcomed and site facilities explained.
Toilets and showers locked up. Good access for M6. Unfortunately 5 sleepless nights took its toll.

The site is really nice, don’t book if you don’t like road noise but we are used to being at the BSB sites.
Good for a stop over if travelling as is close to the M6.

Stayed here one night after a horrendous journey from Settle blown about by strong winds and lashed by rain. This site was a little oasis surrounded by a high edge it helped to cut back some of the wind but we did get rocked to sleep.
Great little site for a stop over on way to Scotland there is a small shop round corner but only for sweets and soft drinks no papers much to my husbands disappointment the day does not start with out his paper.
In the toilet block there is two toilets and one shower cubicle and a small hand basin was all very clean. The owner was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Will use again on our trips to Scotland so convenient from the M6.
