Field site, CS behind the farm.
Very basic, tap, electric and Elson point.
Good walks from the site footpath through farm to Bantham, and easy walk to coast path.
No views to speak of.

Peaceful, lovely site. Had it all to to ourselves most of the week.
Brilliant location within walking distance of some lovely beaches.
Unfortunately doesn't have a great view, but didn't matter too much as we were on the beach most of the time.
Basic, but well-maintained facilities (water, bins, sewage).
Sadly we didn't get to meet Alan as he was unfortunately apparently in hospital.
Expect we'll be returning again.

I enquired using the form on here and received a quick response letting me know they had space and that the price would be £7 for the night for me and my dog in a VW campervan without electric hookup.
Upon arrival I met the owner at the first cottage down the lane and paid my cash and off I went. The field is large and fairly flat with some electric points if you need them.
There is a fresh water tap, chemical disposal point and bins including full recycling. There are no showers or toilets on site. Nothing for children apart from lots of open space to run and play.
The site is in a great location for walking and you are on the beach within a mile and in the village of Thurlston with a pub, hotel and convenience store about 1. 5 miles away.
Walking is in abundance from the site and I covered many miles along the coast path and inland.
Kingbridge is about 15 minutes drive away with a large Tesco, Morrisons and lots of wonderful small independent shops too.
Salcombe, Totnes, Dartmouth and so many more places are all within easy reach by car.
I loved the relaxed calm nature of this site and will definitely return when I am next in the area.

Very nice easy going farmers, good old basic set up. Old school camping at its best. Walk to pub and beach, but the last 2 miles to the site are very narrow farm tracks,
I would not visit with a large vehicle.

An ideal campsite if you like basic facilities and peace and quiet. Don't come expecting showers, toilets and wash-up facilities, just water, electric, toilet disposal, and bins.
Very peaceful location with sea views from the top of the field (if you want views and electric, take a very long lead as the hook ups are all down one side). Also worthy of note is that there is a farm adjacent and if you are near the fence, the cows bring flies when they come visiting. 10 minutes walk to the beach and coastpath - our dog loved it.
P. S. Follow the directions, not the sat nav - the other lanes are VERY narrow!
